If that's the case, I suspect a couple of Crompton players may be getting a few whistling around their ears, when they meet up next season !

I square legged yesterday as we only had one umpire at the game. On asking the umpire on the no ball rules to clarify what I shold give (as the bloody rules change that often)he said it was waist high for full tosses and short pitch bowling that went over shoulder height.

I was a little surprised but any ball whistling around their ears will be a no ball.

I’ve always said to win the league you need 1-2 batter scoring over 1k runs.., it’s just not been that kind of year

You're allowed to stop it from rolling onto your stumps by hitting the ball a second time. The "hit the ball twice" rule is to stop a batsman blocking it and then slogging it.

Can only be a scorer error.

When they tallied up at the end it must of been some runs missed.
