Anyone know of any charities / organisations local to Burnley that can make use of / take in furniture donations?
I have a friend who is leaving the country and needs to clear his flat. There's a bed, table and chairs, a few desks and computer chairs, kitchenware, probably extra bits of bedroom furniture etc...

Re: Furniture donations
I've donated to British Heart Foundation in the past.
They collected it. Sofas needs fireproof labels.

Don't forget before any charity takes furniture donations, the items must meet fire regulations so any soft furnishings must have relevant tags attached.....mikeconroy10 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 2:16 pmAnyone know of any charities / organisations local to Burnley that can make use of / take in furniture donations?

A friend finished up taking a helluva lot to the local council waste centre, as the charities wouldn't take most after his Mum died.... and he couldn't sell it for the same reason.
