Interesting point re work travel. Off topic, I know; but many moons ago I worked for a national retail chain, where I had to do a lot of air miles. There was a rule that, if I remember correctly, no more than 3 execs could travel together in any 1 plane, to ensure fatalities did not affect the bottom line!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 10:36 amI'm not sure an employer can dictate how an employee travels to work but this is another part of the fantastic team spirit we have at Burnley. I think Joe Hart is the only other passenger now. Ben Gibson travelled with them but I think they were considering kicking him out anyway because he wouldn't dip into his pocket to pay for the coffees.

That would have been company travel though, and I've worked in that situation on flights, but this is travelling to and from work.upanatem wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 11:21 amInteresting point re work travel. Re: Westwood interview in the Telegraph
My employer likes us to fly together where possible, which has always seemed a bit shortsighted as it it doesn't save money to have us on the same flight but runs the risk of losing your most experienced guys all in one go.upanatem wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 11:21 amInteresting point re work travel. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Westwood’s contract expires this Summer...Surprised we haven’t agreed an extension considering his performances...
Re: Westwood interview in the Telegraph
According to this site, which is full of useful information, we have a club 1 year extension.
