What an achievement, right up there with when he won his school egg and spoon race

well for me it's a good indicator and perhaps one which will slow down the detractors, but probably not much.

DA, this staying in is definitely showing your bait is getting down, or maybe the fish are just getting smarter lol.

I really hope we can keep him and he gets some game time. I think we might regret it if we let him go. Well done to him getting P of TM.

I thought he'd come good around Christmas but circumstances made the breakthrough happen later. Fair play to the lad for getting stuck in.
We'd be mad to even think of selling him.

I never knew we had a Player of the month award. Is this a new thing?

Thought he impressed. Great movement and linked up well.
Had he been a little more 'match fit', his goal tally could be double.

He’s still our fourth best striker

Is that because in your opinion he is technically inferior to the others or because his lack of game time and opportunities has kept his goal tally down?

He’s started two games recently. He scored against Bournemouth but missed better chances and he wasn’t very good at Newcastle.

I think people are getting a bit carried away with a couple of goals to be honest.

I think it would be more accurate to suggest that people are very pleased that we have another forward player who can either start or come on and offer us something different. Vydra does that. All we need to do as a team is recognise that his strengths are different to Wood (who I like btw - very happy with ALL our forward players at the moment)

Considering how others performed at Newcastle, especially the player brought on to replace Vydra, seems a little unfair that you would use that performance to reinforce your opinion.
