SPOT THE BALL End of Season Cup - ROUND 1

The moment you've been waiting for. The Ref has blown his whistle!

There's nothing quite like the excitement of The Cup, unless you're a Premier League Manager it seems!

There have been noises from certain quarters to name this season's competition "The COVID-19 Cup" but Spot said that would be naff, especially as I am belong to a vulnerable group.

The Rules are simple. Submit your entries for the THREE images in the following format

Image 1 A4

Image 2 C5

Image 3 E6

These are just examples, not necessarily the correct answers

ALL images have been manipulated, by Spot, to remove all traces of the ball, it's shadow, and even the Referee in some cases. On some images, addition have been made by Spot to express HIS views on various topics

(BUT not in Round 1)

VAR and goal-line technology will be used

Initially, there will be FIVE Rounds with EVERYONE taking part.

The results will then be tabulated into a League format. The Top 16 will then play off. The rest will play for the "Michael Duff Trophy" (Often known as The Duffers Cup)

Entries can be added to this thread, or via e-mail to ralphcoatescomb@aol.com (Provides some security for your selections)

You have until FRIDAY 27th MARCH at 18.00 hrs (6pm for those up Harle Syke

At this rate, we may start Round 2 earlier than planned!

Obviously, I can't comment on the entries received to date but, it is clear that we have some candidates for The Duffers Cup

So much happening at present just not had time, I thought self isolation would fix that but seems to be busier than ever.

Unfortunately STB isn't a 5 min job, need at least a good half hour. Maybe I'll get time later.
