That’s half a woooosh !
I am pretty sure that all he was asking was whether any of his supporters on this board believed he was doing a good job in the crisis.
As you can see he has got no likes because it was just a normal question....nothing to see here.
well yet again I am missing the trick line aren't I, but I am sure you can help me out here, how many Trump supporters are on this thread, the exact number is irrelevant but maybe a nice round ballpark figure could help everyone who is reading this thread.

As far as I can see, only Uwe and myself have contradicted some of your like, well let's call it Fake News and the name calling, I'm not sure about Uwe but I have said continually I am not a Trump supporter, so please help me out and give me a number.

This is an interesting point to make. It seems to amount to “you can’t accuse Trump of being incompetent and corrupt, because the fact that he’s incompetent and corrupt is bad for the world, which includes you”.

Has anyone ever put forward a weaker argument than “it gives you great pleasure to take your cheap shots at his hair and his face, just carry on while people are dying and the economy tanks”? How many posts on this thread have even mentioned his hair or face before you brought them up? And isn’t the point at which the economy tanks and people are dying exactly the time when we should be criticising those in charge?

It says a lot about the guy when this is the best his defenders can manage.
you really do struggle to read and keep on topic don't you?

I have not said he is not incompetent and he is not corrupt, what I said, forgetting the corruption for the minute, was, YOU and others better hope and pray he is not as incompetent as you think. The rest are just simple FACTS you can verify in numerous places, but it's easier to avoid the question, go off at a tangent and blame him for something entirely different which I am not responding to.

answer your question and go back through the thread it's not a long one regarding cheap childish shots, let me know if it is none please.

You’ve completely lost me now.
I honestly don’t have a clue what you are talking about.
He didn’t say you were a Trump supporter and neither have I.
He simply asked how the Trump supporters on here thought he was doing in the crisis.
Feel free to reference any fake news I have posted - but again I’m not sure what you are talking about.

As for your question and asking for a number.
Ditto and equally bizarre as the rest of your post but I’ll give you an answer if it stops you asking me - I haven’t got a clue how many Trump supporters are on this thread or read this board but I believe there are some.

Out of interest have you ever had a job in border control in the States ? I have noticed the same charming and bizarre questioning whilst I have been on holiday.

Thanks for that.
Doesn’t answer my question but thanks anyway.
let me help you, it is just above the same percentage in the UK that thought we should stay in the EU, hope that helps you. However, just to be sure and to synthesize it down, it is a few million, I'll let you do the maths on that regarding the number of people who actually have to live with his decisions and have an opposite view to yours and the majority of posters on this thread, but am sure you can convince yourself that they are all asses to.

I did, just so you are aware, not miss your little dig at my "job" and what I have tried a couple of times (Not this Thread) to provide as information, not once did you or anyone else bother to reply on. Clearly these types of things don't bother you and you'd much prefer to continuing your blame game rather than offering anything that might be construed as remotely helpful or constructive.

so on a post that is essentially a Trump Bashing thread borne out by 90+% of posts, a question is posed, asking for Trumps supporters of which I think there is zero, is not bizarre, well I think it is a completely loaded question that the poster can come back to and say you see, no one supports Trump, he completes his own little poll and has an answer that supports his and your narrative.

No to answer your question about border patrol, I have however been deported from New York by said border Patrol, I also spent numerous years when traveling for business and pleasure being scared to death by US Border Patrol at Houston airport, even getting on first name terms with 2 of them because every time I re-entered I was taken upstairs in to a back room. Told I had no rights and no access to a phone until they have finished, between 30 mins to 3 hours every time. Sorry for rambling but you touched a sore nerve with this question.

I sincerely only thought I was asking questions but seems like you don't want to answer so let's just leave it, hopefully we can chat about something else on a different thread and if I came across as aggressive I do apologize, enjoy your Easter weekend.

Tbh I’m not avoiding answering your question I just find it a very unusual one.
You were asking me “for a number” of the Trump supporters on this messageboard. Can you give me a “number” for those who don’t support Trump ?
See how strange a question that is ? And no I’m not looking for an answer !!

I’ve had several experiences with US border control too and I can categorically say not one of them has been a pleasant one....though the Canadians are absolutely fine !

Enjoy your Easter too.

I've no axe to grind either way,but Trump is slipping in the polls over the past week, could be down to his response to the coronavirus,or it could be that the Democratic nominee has now been effectively decided, and of course it's going to be Joe Biden barring any unforeseen events.

The question whether Trump can win re-election hasn't really been mentioned much i don't believe,if you'd have asked me a couple of months ago i'd have said he had a better than evens chance, now i'd say it's a 50/50 shot, the economic downturn due to covid-19 derails a major plank of his strategy, hence why he's desperate to get Americans back to work. And the economy recovering quickly.

A snapshot of recent polling here anyway if anybody wants to peruse.

what you say is very true, the big question is can Trump do anything in the short time until Nov, will Nov get delayed, and who will the American people want to lead them in an economic recovery. Plus obviously plenty of other countries, world leaders be watching with real interest.

Looks like he has been busy deporting Mexicans on the grounds that their continued presence in the US is a coronavirus risk - or is that something made up by the BBC?

Absolutely not I watched it on BBC world news, and not just Mexicans, but they were in the detention camps, similar to prisoners all across the USA being let out. Let me ask you, what do you want if it was you, to stay in a detention camp with very little social distancing, overcrowded or sent across a border and free, your choice. I know what I would want, so you'll have to let me know regarding this injustice to illegals, the letting them go free! Have a look at the mass graves being dug in New York, so many undocumented people they don't know who to contact it is a crying shame and my heart goes out to them but let me know if you advocate to let illegal immigrants in to any country in the world and have open borders or whether you have an alternative to the two.

Also why don't you also report on the border between Mexico and Arizona, where the Mexican people blocked the crossing with cars and had a large group with placards saying, American stay home, keep your virus you're not welcome here. Then look at todays BBC World News that showed the French refugee camp a mile from Calais and tell me how good the EU is treating refugees, 100's queued up, no social distancing at all to get the one meal a day from the French government, a sandwich. French citizen volunteers crying on camera about how the government treats these people worse than animals

I'm no fan of Trump, but he's actually deported around 25% less people compared to President Obama in his first three years ....

In terms of the " Latina " vote, he was hauled over the coals by commentators for his comments before the last election, that there were some " bad hombres " over there and he didn't want them in the country. On holiday in the States a few months after the election, I discussed this with two couples of Mexican descent, one had been " legal" in the USA for just a few months. They both said that Trump's line had actually gone down well with their friends, " People are fleeing Mexico for economic reasons, for sure, but also to escape corrupt politicians at all levels, drug lords, a bent judiciary and street gangs ! They know he's got a point, it's all very well for liberal politicians to throw up their hands in horror at what Trump says, but, they think we should know who's coming over the border "

Not sure how him being a genius squares with those horrible/shameful pics of the mass grave in the Bronx.
Almost akin to the liberation of Belsen documentary the other night in their ability to shock and sicken at the same time.

Is this successful, probably in Trump's world yes.In the real world it's a tragedy for both nations.

US death figures overtake Italy
Earlier we reported that although US death figures had not yet overtaken those of Italy, you should be prepared for that to happen as more information is reported.

There have now been 19,701 deaths reported by the US, according to John Hopkins University. That compares to 19,468 reported by Italy's government.

Regardless of which country has reported a greater number of deaths, it is a tragedy for both.

I fear both could eventually be eclipsed in deaths by India, the outbreak has not taken hold yet in the Indian subcontinent, but if and when it does their fragile health systems will struggle to cope.

It's one of the giveaways of all Ringo's different accounts. Just stick it on ignore.
Personally I'd be willing to put money on that Ringo isn't Elizabeth or Kater. The obsession with it is a bit tedious.

Just watched a prog on BBC about swearing in Scotland.

It showed the poster, displayed by a Scots woman at a protest against Trump, when he landed in Scotland.
It went viral.
Succinct, accurate and precise.

Trump is a C UNT

F uck him!

Actually, I now think he's greater than Roosevelt in the sense that he's fighting a successful war against the Wuhan virus. In that respect he's now the greatest President since Lincoln.
I find it hilarious that you switched to a previous Republican rather than Democrat president.

A “successful” war ?
Looks about as successful as their war against Vietnam to me.

Complete unsubstantiated nonsense. In fact wishful thinking on your part and all because of your media conditioned hatred of Trump. I have no doubt that when he stopped Chinese citizens coming in at the end of January you called him a racist.

Just over a weekend ago I said America would suffer the most from covid

Nonsense apparently

Apparently “wishful thinking” even though I have seen the fear in people’s faces and wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy

unfortunately it seems America will suffer the most

A bit tedious and a lot wrong.

As I've said before. The idea that simply because certain people share a certain opinion means its the same person is ludicrous. The left wing bubble dwellers who must be so disconnected. That, to hear a majority opinion means they jump to the conclusion that, it must therefore, be one person, with different accounts. Must be left utterly bewildered as the results of the latest general election/ referendum roll in during the early hours of a Friday morning!

I can only imagine the communal sound of pennys dropping in the metropolitan heartlands, as the mist lifts from their , finally dawning on them, eyes.

I don't think the majority opinion is that Trump is doing a good job.
