I have been seeing a lot on social media about the masters tournaments that they used to show on Sky during the Summer. Got me thinking what kind of a team we could potentially put out.
As far as I know the only factor needed to qualify was to be over 35
6 a side + 3 subs so name your 9 - 1 of which has to be a keeper
1. Jensen
2. Alexander
3. Duff
4. Carlisle
5. Blake
6. Barton
7. Elliott
8. Payton
9. Akinbiyi (he'd be entertaining if nothing else

)

If it’s 35 I’d have Lee Grant in goal. He’s still playing.

I’m not sure we would be welcome back after the last time we took part (and nor would Blackburn or Bolton)

I work with an Oldham fan and he said he went to the masters that day with his son and their junior football team. Described the burnley fans as acting like animals

I may owe Blackburn & Bolton an apology

It was actually our & Oldham ‘fans‘ that appear to have caused the trouble

You wouldn't pick Jensen in your Danes called Brian Burnley XI though.

I remember watching that on holiday in Hisaronu. We were terrible.

I was there and saw nothing untoward at all - seemed to have happened outside mainly.

There was definitely some “trouble“ in the crowd behind where we were sat

Shame really - it is supposed to be a family event

Not wishing to change the subject, but those who attended a family event to cause trouble, are probably the very same who would turn up outside turf moor if a game was being played behind closed doors
