I made the point early in this 'debate' that Sir Kier Starmer would not find it easy to make the re-connct to traditional Labour voters, due to him being v Woke, his anti Brexit stand and his position on criminal rights. But he is definitely very articulate and bright and going the right way about leading Labour. Getting rid of the ridcu;ous Long Bailey after her re-tweeting of Maxine Peakes ludicrous post about Israel and its connection to the USA police - which is false - has shown he is the man for the job. I admire him for what he did here.
