Just to see when it’s released.
Called and it’s not confirmed but potentially mid-August to end-August.
A long wait

I used to love waiting in anticipation for the new kit to be unveiled when I was about 12 years old.

Here’s what the training kit design will look like. Obviously will be a different colour and without the horrendous crest......

West Ham released their away kit. Strangely like ours this season claret and blue. Why?

Really can’t see why we are leaving it so late. Not like we’re changing manufacturers/sponsors.
New West Ham kits look okay to be fair.

Possible new home shirt? All claret based on a 1970’s style shirt or blue sleeves which can’t be seen?

Looks decent need to see the sleeves tho, the sponser spoils it tho, looks awful and lets the shirt down.
Hope we think about the overall look when it’s time to renew. It would be great if we can get a decent adidas kit sometime in the near future

Ooh, looks promising!
Was hoping we might do something a bit different with the badge (see Everton’s new one or dropping the yellow border) and think the logo might look better in blue but otherwise looks neat.

It's like we're being weaned off the blue sleeves. Half this season, full claret sleeves next season.

I think it is supposed to be a modern day version of the 1920/21 shirt. Logos, badges and adverts all compulsory nowadays.

I think we’re lowering the ‘t-shirt line’ to bend the handball law in our favour.

I can see a subtle nod towards the 1920/21 design, with a thinner ring around the collar. With this in mind, I hope we go with black socks for next season.
That said, we could play in pink and yellow spots, I not precious about kits anymore.

A subtle nod? Mind you, weren't you the one poster who agreed with the club's suggestion that last season's effort was supposed to be a nod on the V shirt?

No, the was the season before I think, there was a V shape design in the claret body. I’m not sure if it was the official line, but when first saw the design, that’s what I saw and it reminded me of the 1970’s shirt.
Same with this one, in the last 100 years have we had a kit with a ring going around the shoulders?

They don't put enough thought or care enough to make a shirt with a nod to the past. This will just be a standard template designed and made in a Vietnamese sweatshop.

But I reckon the club find a template that fits. They might look at choices and discuss that a design reminds them of this kit or reminds them of that kit.
I believe the blue neckline / shoulder line was chosen to recognise the League champions 100 years ago.

Say this every year but the home shirts are incredibly dull and uninspired. We really need to up our game at the design stage and put a lot more thought and effort into the designs.
The black away shirt has been the only decent BFC Shirt for years imo.

More likely a Leicester or Briefield sweatshop. I'm sure Boo Hoo could tell you exactly where they were made.

I think we’ve been ok for kits recently, nothing offensive. The silver away kit is the only one that springs to mind of an awful kit.
The white pin stripe one was nice with CLARETS printed in the design, the black kit with the honeycomb print and the ‘Evergreen’ kit I also liked.

Agree the black kit was good
They could at least pattern the home shirt underneath the claret with something interesting, anything to make it look better than a catalogue bought strip.

I’ve always been a little jealous of my South Shields mate with the kits they have - especially whilst we were both with Puma
These are next seasons

Excellent season number 16 I think it is not buying a Burnley shirt.
Fingers crossed the kids scoff at it too, will save a fortune.
I got the one off bfccrazy, and it's far, far smarter.

Theyll be plenty buy it, theres people who collect shirts, kids that will want it which is fair enough.
I've got a shirt every season since my lad was born, and I keep them all in the attic, dont know why it just started as he wanted 1 ever year, so I'll get one but itll be in May 2021 when its £10

It's what the club said and you, I seem to recall, were the only one agreeing with it. Looked more like something from Blockbusters. Whoever thinks these kits are a nod to old ones needs a visit to the opticians.

I don't mind the neck and front but those sleeves are shocking. Just like the West Ham sleeves look silly, so do those.
I hope it is wrong.

I’m only giving my opinion.
There was a V on the front of the shirt... I couldn’t give a flying **** what the club said. That’s what I saw.
But, and I might be wrong regarding next sessions shirt, I haven’t seen another other club with the Umbro contract with that design yet - with a line going around around the shoulder/neckline...
Is the kit like for like? No. Its a thinner line, but I think it’s a nod to the kit from 100 years ago. That’s what it reminds me of.

I don’t hate it but hopefully will look much better when modelled correctly and not draped from a coat hanger on someone’s living room door.
Mr Dyche must like it...he passes all the designs before production. Another thing to note, I was told the designs for next season’s kit were made more or less at the release of the current one.

Bournemouth and Chelsea have both been wearing next seasons kit
