That’s a very poor brioche bap then. My wife makes (and has  ) lovely baps.
😝
More than this though is food served on anything other than a plate. It’s seemingly trendy to serve food on bits of old roofing slate, scaffold boards and tiles.

B&Q in Hinckley - they NEVER have what I want - sort it out.
B&Q dont sell plates, only tiles, slates and scaffold boards.

Having to re-tune your TV umpteen times a year and then having to spend ages reorganising the channels because it's decided to throw Sky News, BBC News, Dave, Film 4 etc in random locations for sh*ts and giggles.

People who use the word “literally” When there’s absolutely no need. It really doesn’t need to be in your sentence. Try it without.

Those TV adverts, usually for cars, where they take a reasonably good, popular song, and ruin it by slowing it down and having it sung by a sickly voiced female!

'Born to be wild' is the latest example of this vomit inducing crap.

Makes me want to put my foot through the screen!

Banks and supermarkets where self-service, self-scan, is Becoming the new norm. There’s No one to talk to any more. Online ‘shopping’ is even worse where you get ‘would you like to chat with one of our experts’ Er no thanks because basically You’re a robot. And when you try to speak to someone, you’re ripped off with 0800 numbers, all our operators are busy, or websites that have no contact details at all. Ah yes, The soulless, mind-numbing, senseless experience of online shopping where you can’t feel the quality of, try on, hear, smell, taste or experience what It is you want to buy. Shopping has become a poor, second rate experience these days.

We could all have saved some time on this thread with the honest answer of 'not being as young as I was'.

Most things are way better than they were. And if they're not, it's your fault, it's your generation that changed them.

The use of 'Guys', grates on me.
My next door neighbour was once having some work done by a bloke who brought two dogs with him ...she referred to his dogs as guys ...the builder wasnt happy ...he politely asked her not to use the term 'guys' again ....it tickled me and your post reminds me of that day ....it wasnt you was it ? :D

The thing about this that's most perplexing is that they actually added the meaning to the dictionary which so many people got wrong.

Literally should only ever mean that it did actually happen - so "I literally died when they said that" should only make sense if their heart stopped and they had to be resuscitated.

But now, it means putting emphasis on something even though it isn't true, which is just plain dumb.

I can only assume because the % of stupid people is rising, that they decided to add it to the dictionary.

People who use it to put emphasis on something, still do my head in.

Please give him a full time job on eastenders and it might stay that way.

Speaking of vehicles ,engine management systems that put your car in limp mode if someone farts in it and you have to pay £50 to get someone to plug a laptop in to clear a fault message.

egotistical bellends in transfer windows literally making stuff up for attention

Attention seeking people that has come about in the social media age (people acting on videos, posting bullshit stories etc just for attention and likes)

The rise of the woke left/box ticking

people weaving in and out of lanes (im thinking m65 roundabout as an example) just because they can't be arsed to wait an extra minute or two.

people who don't indicate

minutes applause in football games, or anything that isn't actually about the football.

the offside rule where the lino doesn't initially flag

VAR

The over saturated passing craze that has enveloped football in recent years. Just ******* get rid or get on with it!

Feminists

cancel culture

people who don't actually know eachother calling eachother 'mate' cringe!
