No such thing as an Indian curry before the partition it was united, apart from religion it still is, slight variations with the cuisine styles, Indian seem to be more vegetable based, Pakistan meat based, Bangladeshi fish based, are we splitting hairs here? You could be blindfolded sampling the differences you wouldn't know.

Over there it will be determined by tribal seasonal produce, over here you will get tiffin box & railway style Indian curries from the Indian perspective offered in cities, usually broadly speaking will be all mashed into together but probably described differently for individual enticement.
