I don’t mean compilations of hit records or classical pieces.
My question is which film’s original music has got to your heart?

That’ll Be The Day and Stardust both had pretty good soundtracks. The song remains the same was also pretty good but nit sure if it truly counts as a soundtrack.

Platoon. Quite apart from Adagio for Strings being one of the most amazing pieces of music ever written (guaranteed to bring a tear to my eye) the rest of the soundtrack is superb.
On a similar theme, if anyone has watched Ken Burns’ Vietnam documentary, that has a similarly fantastic soundtrack.
And then finally, any of the This is England soundtracks.

Could end up with hundreds being named so many films mean so much to so many, bit Churchill that and that leads to some of my favourites Dambusters, Battle of Britain, 633 Squadron and Apocalypse Now to name a few I like the original Goodbye Mr Chips.
