Pope - 8 - Did nothing wrong, made a pen save (though should have got to Sharp's pen)
Lowton - 6 - Nothing to really say
MOM - Dunne - 8 - Did very well, and after a couple of shaky loans I was concerned over him. Solid, great in the air and all this alongside a backup too in Long.
Long - 7 - Would need to see first goal again as at the time I felt Long could have done better, but overall solid.
Taylor - 6 - Didn't see much of him going forward.
Brady - 7 - Got pelters in the match thread and he did make some errors (and should have scored) but he was involved throughout and never stopped trying. Looked fit and committed.
Brownhill - 7 - Energetic, good range of passing and works well with...
Westwood - 7 - As above
JBG - N/A - Looked a really bad one (holding his knee, potential ACL?)
Rodriguez - 6 - Didn't get much to feed on
Vydra - 8 - Thought he had a really good game, high press on Jagielka worried him throughout. Would have won a pen if not minutely offside, great finish for his goal and took his pen in the shoot out well too. Good game.

Pieters - 8 - I really think he works out so well playing wide, personally! Involved throughout, good touch, offers himself going forward (great ball for when Brady hit the post). I prefer him there to left back.

Mention for Benson too, excellent for the period he was on the pitch.

Why have 3 people not given Brady a rating? I hope it's someone copying and editing the first time he was missed out rather than some pathetic dig at Brady. I thought he played alright today when clearly played on his least favoured side. He'll have a big part to play this year now if Joey is out for a long time, let's not all be divs and get on his back all the time.
