If the Mirror's report on El Kashashy's wealth were accurate, should he have gained an entry in the Sunday Times rich list from earlier this year - as a director of Staunch Partners.

On his failing at Charlton of the ‘fit and proper persons test’ - I believe it’s claimed down to a box he didn’t tick on the form.

Failing to correctly complete a form would mean your application was rejected, but you can apply again.
In my opinion You don’t get a suspension just for filling out an application incorrectly.

This is total nonsense. It was down to him failing to tick a box which disclosed some information regarding former involvement with a football club within a specified period of time.

He was awarded the suspension because the body adjudged him to have deliberately tried to deceive them with his answer.

He took the suspension to court on the basis that he did it accidentally and didn't intend to mislead.

He won the court case.

Stop making it sound much more sinister than it actually is.

I was reading Charlton fans on social media, when it was pointed out they were in trouble long before Farnell arrived, such as the sit down protest and tennis ball throwing the last time we played them. They then just revert to abuse.

What investors are generally interested in is future cashflow - or at least potential future cashflow. Derby may not own their ground, but it is substantially larger than ours and they have the ability to fill it as a Premier League team - they already have a significantly higher average attendance than us (in normal times!) even in the Championship. Yes, they have to get there first, which is a big risk factor, but there is a also a risk that Burnley could get relegated.

I've said before that if you buy Burnley, you're buying at the top of the market. If I was was an investor, I would be looking for a club exactly like Derby where there is plenty of upside potential - a bigger club than us for a third of the price. Buying us, the risks are heavily skewed to the downside.

While I accept that BFC is at peak valuation with it's premier League status (Covid has substantially reduced that, and earnings going forward) the valuation of Derby is significantly excessive considering it's creditors and financial performance (admittedly we are still waiting for the 2018/19 and 2019/20 accounts but those looked bleak from the outside)
