So what Claret goodies did we all get this year then?
I got a “Happy Place” t-shirt
Think the “star present” of the day was this we got for the nephew
Off came the smart shirt & trousers his mum put him in for the day and that was it

Those “Happy Place” t-shirts must’ve sold well.

As posted on the Christmas Day thread, I got "From Orient to the Emirates. The plucky risk of Burnley FC" - by Tim Quelch.
And, this seems a good a place as any to mention it. I retired 31st March - we were all in lockdown, so hadn't been to the office for more than 3 weeks - my retirement event had been cancelled. A few weeks ago I got a surprise, they'd got me a retirement present - a framed Burnley shirt - signed by Burnley 1st team/squad. All organised by my boss (a Brit) who's based in Houston, TX. He told me Burnley were very helpful when he contacted to arrange the shirt. He's a Leeds fan. In more normal times we might have planned to attend tomorrow's game together. Of course, I'm looking forward to 3 points to the Clarets - and Chris Wood getting the winner with an assist from Charlie Taylor.

I got the Black away strip because apparently I kept going on about how good it was to see the old crest woven in to it

Isla was well suited with Santa's offering from the Claret Store but is finding out watching Burnley can be quite a stressful experience

My wife got me a travel bag, socks, training top, t shirt, hanging footballs (like fuzzy dice) ,face mask, stainless water bottle and car sticker. It brought a tear to my eyes, and I think the visa bill will too!!
