How to attach photos to a post

I used to use TinyPic. It was so easy. They seem to have disappeared and, having googled other methods, I haven’t had any luck. Can someone help?

4. Find the photo you want

5. Click Open

6. Click Place in Line

7. Click Submit

If you want to link something from the internet, copy the image URL (right click, copy), go to https://imgbb.com/, click upload at the top, select to upload URL, fairly straightforward from there. Select bb code full link from the drop down box lower down, copy it, paste it on here.

get rid of the [ and the URL and the ] at the beginning of the link, and the [ and the / and the url and the ] at end of the link so it looks like this (without any links below it).

Your link should start with the [ and then img, with the closing ] followed by the https link.

That’s the size of the image you are adding. There is a limit on size displayed though.

This is true. I've only ever posted pictures twice and both times it took me bloody ages as the file was (apparently) too large. I'm extremely naive with tech, but did manage to eventually shrink the file to make it work, but it took me about 3 days and by that time the thread was relegated to page 4 and nobody was reading it anyway. Oh, and it also distorted my image!

It might have been page 4 where you found the thread but your new photo will take it straight back to page 1. Immediately below the two locked messages.

Can’t answer your question but when you can don’t not use it because it is over the 2Mb limit.
I have photos on file over the limit but when you “add” them through the “attachments” button they appear as less and will upload. It’s worth adding them just to check.
