These comments along the lines of 'where are the Mee haters' or 'where are the Wood haters' are so childish.

The frustration aired towards Wood in particular has been because of his dreadful barren run! One goal doesn't change that and every fan who has aired frustration will be just as glad that he has now scored. It doesn't make the criticism any less justified.
