Someone mentioned it on this forum, how much truth there is to it IDK, and hopefully it's just a minor knock that he can shake off.

Otherwise with Barnes out just now, we're left with only Jay & Vydra as 1st choice strikers, with perhaps Mumbongo and Thompson as sub options, and neither of those is proven at this level, so we would be somewhat thin on the ground to say the least, and given that we're struggling to score goals with a fully fit strike force Villa excepted, then heaven only knows how we'll manage with a depleted front line.
No idea how somebody on here would know that so soon after the injury. Hope it’s nothing serious.

Hudson-Odyi is a kick and rush merchant who loves to run into gaps
Problem was we failed to double up and the two goals came from slack marking
Sean doesn't do squad rotation unless forced to but I would play Joel and Vyds from the off .Jay I would play cm with Ash Dwight Johan alongside him
Defence is Erik if Charlie still out and Bardsley at rb
Are you mad?

Jay CM...
Start Mumbongo...

Against Man City? Sounds like me on footy manager

Supremely fit althletes earning vast amounts of money are tired for playing three games in short period of time,if so they need to get proper job to find out what being tired after a weeks work is all about.
Playing the team is tired card is a plss poor excuse for a poor performance

Harsh regarding performance but I've got to agree regarding tiredness. It's a joke tbh.

It`s not just about a small squad though, it`s also about a lack of rotation, we have a limited squad yes but there have been games where maybe the likes of Benson, Stephens, Glennon could have been risked for a period to ease some of the burden on first choice players but Dyche seems to like squeezing every last drop of energy out of players and only changes it to accomodate injuries but given the current system of games coming thick and fast it`s maybe not the best way to go about it.

9-5.30 actually, and just an hour for lunch. Long days. ;)

I don’t think there’s any relevance between working nights and professional sportsmen being fatigued though. And I don’t think that their salary has any bearing on their susceptibility to fatigue.

Tough ain't it Jimmy, don't know how these young (ish) fit athletes do it. Glad I'm not a professional footballer.

Having just offered a group of players in their 30's new contracts SD can have no complaints if his team are looking tired after playing a series of tough games during this revised Covid schedule.
Same schedule for all PL clubs. In itself shouldn't be an issue.

It is obvious, if you earn more than your average guy in the street it is impossible to be tired.

Ignoring the fact the average guy in the street does nothing to exercise he still knows better.

It is like those who say "how can he be depressed he earns 50k a week"

If young healthy people are tired after 90 minutes of exercise x3 a week something is seriously wrong bearing in mind older unhealthier people are working longer hours & still completing their tasks in a satisfactory manner, for the duration & frequency tiredness is an abysmally poor excuse.

You can just imagine the physical effort taken by 42 yr old Nigel working in the bank

Or a 50 year Fred getting up at the crack of dawn working for removals navigating all the motorways arriving at the destination & unloading boxes.

I’m not I’m deadly serious, the joke is expecting people to believe that young professional athletes should be fatigued after playing football for 90 mins X3 a week.

It’s pretty common knowledge that it takes players 48-72 hours for their bodies to recover after a match. Footballer’s bodies get fatigued, to argue otherwise is nonsense. Why do you think managers complain about fixture congestion, or the opposition having an extra day’s rest between games?

Your comparison with a removals driver is ridiculous. If they’re tired they can stop off for an extra coffee break, or unload less boxes at a time, or work a little slower. Their performance is unlikely to be impacted by their tiredness.

If that's the case doesn't the same apply to the other teams or is just BFC players affected? It goes in equal measures. Nobody should be that more tired than anybody else, if anything the more elite sides are fighting on more fronts so should be more tired not the other way around.

Are you joking have you ever seen motorways literally come to a standstill because of a tired HGV drivers causing accidents, you can actually kill multiple people with a dropoff in performance but according to you performance is unlikely to cause impact.

Managers often talk of the need to bring in 1 or 2 players just to "freshen things up" but it looks as though that opportunity will be passed up for a second transfer window running.
