Lone fisherman in the Bayou during my walk, not sure what he would catch but he obviously think of something, he was very still sunning himself on his perch (note: I decided he was a male out doing the hunting gathering stuff for his family

Re: Your winter photos
Great effort everyone, there's some lovey pictures on here. I read that to post pictures they have to be no more that 2mb. ( I've kept the instructions to post a picture from this site). I tried putting one on with the wife's iPhone 5 but it rejected it saying its more than 2mb. I'm surprised with the phone being a few years old and thought it would have taken it. Does that sound right to you or is it something I'm doing wrong.Just out of interest what model of phones are people using to put them on. I'm not very techie I'm afraid Thanks.
Re: Your winter photos
Attach the (oversized) photo to an email sent to yourself. When sending the email an option will be (on an iPhone) to reduce the size of the photo. Reduce size, send, then save new photo with your other photos on the phone.beddie wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 1:15 pmGreat effort everyone, there's some lovey pictures on here. Re: Your winter photos
Thanks Mala591. We managed to reduce the photo and save it on my wife's iPhone, we then got it attached and could see it as a jpeg but every time we pressed submit it kept coming up with the words " to few characters in message" This is the procedure I followed from another posters instructions. (below). I always post from my iPad which is over 8 years old, perhaps it's that unless you can spot something else. Thanks again. By the way we enjoyed your last two photos.

Re: Your winter photos
Type some text before adding photo. 5 letters should suffice. I note that plenty of the photos don’t have text at all so can’t understand why you get the message but this should cure the problem.
Re: Your winter photos
Thanks huw. It did work but I'd reduced the photo far too much so I've deleted it and will try another one tomorrow. Thanks to you and Mala for your help it's much appreciated.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 9:41 pmType some text before adding photo. 5 letters should suffice. Re: Your winter photos
You could try this option to take your photo under 2Mb.
You need to download an app “Image Size” but it looks simple to use.
Scroll down to “how to resize photos”. Good luck.
