Neil Lennon getting dumped by Celtic
It's being reported in the Scottish press Lenny's for the high jump within 24 hours, I wonder if this news will affect Brady's potential move up here.

There have been suggestions that Brady is an approved target of Lennon's replacement

Should’ve happened after the Dubai debacle. Was a very tired appointment.

He was doing a decent job up until the moment they had any sort of credible opposition.

He’s gone!! Jumped before the push apparently.
Re: Neil Lennon getting dumped by Celtic
I can't see him getting another decent job in football for a long time if ever.

Hopefully that is the last seen of the turd in football, says a lot about him though jumping before Rangers potentially clinch the title at soap dodging arena in 3 games time
Re: Neil Lennon getting dumped by Celtic
Aww , they should keep him longer.
Give him another 5 years, watching and hearing the whines from the Nothern Sunday league has been a decent distraction.
It's like finishing 2nd to a 3 legged donkey in a 2 horse race, they're that far behind.
Ross County beat them AGAIN on Sunday
Them and Liverpool are terrible for it, and I've found it quite amusing watching them unravel.

Well done to Sevco on their first title win

And even that credible opposition isnt that credible.NottsClaret wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 7:24 amHe was doing a decent job up until the moment they had any sort of credible opposition.
It's a 2 horse race, and they are absolutely miles behind.
Theyve had years and years to try and catch the trophies Rangers have, and still haven't managed it even after a treble treble and no competion for a decade.
Think even Dyche could get his team playing some football up there every other week.

It's great that a club can form and win the league up there within 10 years.
Everyone thought it was a closed shop.
A few more clubs should spring up and hammer Celtic further down the pyramid.

Not that I want him to go, but that seems a job that SD would certainly be up to

Not so great they left their creditors hanging including many small businesses and charities, but hey ho.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 8:32 amIt's great that a club can form and win the league up there within 10 years.

Re: Neil Lennon getting dumped by Celtic
I think he would surprise a few, and doubt he would lose many if any games in the cup to the likes of the Rose and Crown or Dog and Gun either.

That's the scummy side of football.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 8:43 amNot so great they left their creditors hanging including many small businesses and charities, but hey ho.
Re: Neil Lennon getting dumped by Celtic
I disagree. Dyche is used to keeping teams in a division rather than consistently beating lesser teams playing good football. If you're a manager of either Old Firm you are expected to win the league, no excuses.Belgianclaret wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 8:37 amNot that I want him to go, but that seems a job that SD would certainly be up to
As an aside, so glad Rangers have restored order up there. Celtic and Lennon are repulsive.

Re: Neil Lennon getting dumped by Celtic
I think the Celtic job is the perfect job for Dyche.
It is the next step on furthering his career. He has now stalled at Burnley & won't want to move down a division.
He gets to win something, get's back into Europe and a chance to prove himself against better opposition.

Yeah let’s forget about those two seasons in the championship and that unbeaten 23 game run.Bosna wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 12:15 pmI disagree. Re: Neil Lennon getting dumped by Celtic
The idea of Dyche taking over at Celtic is no so far fetched
It did Brendan Rodgers a lot of good and got him the Leicester job
Could they match his wages
He would almost certainly experience Champions League football in a couple of years
He's not going to get such a chance down in England

Sorry to continue with the linking of past and present Burnley managers to the job, but I actually did read the other week that Eddie Howe was a contender.

Yes Howe has been linked to that gig, can't see it myself I think he's hoping for the Palace job when Roy retires at the end of the season, and there's no way Eddie would travel this far north.
