What, never?
What about when Arsenal scored the opener from a move that started by playing out from the back?
And what’s happened to the quote function?

Madge appears to be banned and my initial match post re-engineered.
Very sad.
Just to let you all know that I will no longer post the match thread, going forward.
I only did it to continue the HolyCustard legacy. Now the Moerators do no want that, there is little point in continuing the conflict and resulting feeling of victimisation by me. That is not accusing them of anything. They do a fair job of a crap task, so no issues. It is just that it makes me very sad, so no point in continuing to bring on further grief.
I will post when we score again today and Naughty Madge will signal our win. Then that's it.

We've stayed in the game, which was important after the early goal, and slowly got a foothold in the game. Our general play on the ground has been poor, granted, but we've defended pretty well and only looked under threat on the counter.
Arses look poor, nothing special at all and their mid-table position suggests that. If we can step it up a little, maybe go a little longer and push them back and bully them a little picking up the second balls, we've could easily get a victory here.
I'd take a point though.
Come on You Clarets

I’ve enjoyed your match threads for years now, Ian. 5-6 years ago I wasn’t in a position to attend many games, and these match threads were absolutely brilliant and full of great banter.

What on earth is going on with this board today?
The change to the quote function is making it unreadable.

Wood must be a ‘mare to play up front with. He can be fantastic and awful all in one game.

Little nudge on their keeper mentioned by Beglin (there wasn't any} but they fall to mention how Brownhill was pushed on the floor by their keeper.
But you're allowed to do what you want if you're a goalkeeper nowadays.
Ref a joke. No doubt he saw Taylor was struggling so he takes him out.

I’m confused - is ‘Madge’ being removed the issue?
If so (I couldn’t give a hoot whether she’s there or not) is there perhaps a reason for them being removed?
The thread itself is still up an running, so I’m not too sure what the problem is.

shouldn’t VAR alert the ref to the felling of Brownhill?

Anyway, now the rules have changed. You can do what you want if you're a goalkeeper.

Naughty that by Saka, and deservedly earned him a yellow, and yet apparently we're a dirty team.

So now they’ve learnt to get a toe under the ball they all come down with snow on them, straight into Leno’s hands.

They’re talking about accumulation as though it’s something new. Refs have pointed out multiple instances for years.
