Well apart from Sheff Utd when West Ham fielded Tevez illegally, and Bournemouth when Villa should have been instead, but I get your point
Back in the 90's Bolton went down instead of Everton because the officials didn't see the ball cross the Everton goal line. Mind you it was marginal as it was only about 3 feet over

Speaking of Everton I seem to recall them getting a dodgy pen back in 94 against Wimbledon which played a big part in keeping them up.

Don't know if that was in the same season or not, but I don't think so, as far as I remember Oldham were the unlucky side on that occasion.

I see our odds are now 6-1
i suspect that's due to the bed-wetters and pessimists from here putting some money on. ;)

Incredible that we are only 20-1 with some bookies.

Nine point leads at at this stage of the season have never been closed.

And, to be fair, fidel, they generally are...... Dyche is a one-trick pony, "Woods" is crap, Vydra useless, Jayrod past it, Cork too lightweight, Dwight and Tarks have had their heads turned and so on and so on.

We were never going to get relegated without a collective brain fart of monumental proportions. This manager and group of players have showed time after time how resilient they are. in addition only the most blinkered dejectionists can deny the quality we have.
