Bah, next to the bottom of the thuggery league. Dyche out !

Seriously though, the myth of us being a dirty side has been trashed yet again.

We've never been a dirty side, physical absolutely but we rarely overstep the mark, hence why we pick up very few red cards.

I'm  Arsenal are only 15th given all the reds they've accrued this season. And Brighton rather close to the foot of that table surely not when they're renowned for all that pretty football they play.

From recollection think we have finished near the top every season in Dyche’s time here.

It’s not a surprise to us, it will be to the social media f*ckwits.
I see that the bottom 5 are all in the bottom 6 with us.
Mr Top Tier is correct we are always well up in the fair play table.

So Anti-football means not getting players sent off or keep losing them for getting too many bookings - Am I right in thinking that David Luiz who was the first player to accuse us of anti-football has had more Reds than our team in the time he has been in this country

This would have got us into the Europa League I think a couple of years ago?

David Luiz - The only defender who doesn't appreciate a good tackle.

In terms of our dirty players Barnes and Bardsley are of course up there but haven't played much, that probably helped us.
Westwood also has a bit of a nasty streak, but seems to know when to stop.
Tarkowski can be a bit edgy getting involved in antics too, although you can't blame him for picking a player up.
McNeil probably next, but he's young and has to deal with cheating ***** like Alioski.

All in all we're a very disciplined team and that surely comes from the manager and filters through.

Though to be honest, if being further down that table saw us higher in the league, I'd take it.

Thuggish Burnley at it yet again!!!

...and I'd assume all but a handful of those were for "cynical" challenges and not a lack of discipline.

I'd say quite a lot of them have been very unjustified !

Do we get any money for this?
There ought to be a sizeable financial reward for playing the game fairly.

I am having a chuckle to myself at the though of Arsenal Fans TV getting into a meaningful discussion about this table - apoplectic is the word that comes to mind along with confused and a lot of idiots saying that cannot be right

I was peed off after the Fulham home game when Parker said “Typical Burnley game; stop start; lots of free kicks”. Inferring we were the ones giving free kicks away. Stats showed, I think, Burnley gave away 7 free kicks while Fulham gave away 13. The general perception that we are a dirty team is well wide of the mark.

Usually, when near the bottom, you get most discipline points.

That is remarkable for us.

There were a few cases this season where I thought taking the player out was the correct option -and we didn't, and we conceded, and we lost.

Fernandinho does it all the time.
And gets treated fairly leniently too.

Maupay's mouthing it off at the weekend cost Brighton 5-6 places.

I read recently that we'll pass the record for most PL games without a sending off a couple of games into next season. Also, based on recent number of games per red card we're the most disciplined team in Premier League history. 36 games per red with the next nearest (I think it was Coventry) on 33 games per red.

If it starts going wrong for Liverpool tomorrow and they lose their heads we could end up at the top. Well done Burnley and our firm but fair ethos.
