Today’s Team
Haven’t seen a thread on this already. Cork or Brownhill? JBG or Brownhill? JRod, Barnes or Vydra? These seem to be the biggest selection questions. The rest seems settled.
I’d go for Cork in the middle, JBG on the right and JRod up front.

Re: Today’s Team
it'll be the most predictable line up of the 92 clubs
Re: Today’s Team
As Vegas says, it is very predictable - Lowton at RB, JBG right mid, Cork and West CM, Wood and Vydra up front. And to be honest, that's exactly what it should be given the players we have today.

Re: Today’s Team
yep, predictable through lack of choice unfortunately
Re: Today’s Team
Reckon Jay will start with JBG right wing.
Re: Today’s Team
Wood and Vydra started the game on Saturday.
Re: Today’s Team
Vydra needed that extra game time regardless. Jay’s had a solid pre season and can see him getting the nod.

Re: Today’s Team
Agree RV. It’s a really solid team for me. UTC!
Re: Today’s Team
I'm fancying Jay for a much improved season this time. Thought he was poor last year, couldn't quite get going somehow.
Re: Today’s Team
Hopefully Dwight can carry on with what appears to have been some good form during preseason. His creativity will be key for me.

Re: Today’s Team
I think he will start Brownhill on the right instead of JBG but I really hope not. Think the rest is fairly predictable. I did think Hennessy might start as Pope hasn’t played much but not so sure.

Re: Today’s Team
I'd play Barnes up front, not that he's better than Vyds, but he is hitting the net and he has a thing for Brighton. Different opposition and I'd think differently.
Jack played as well as he has for ages 2nd half of last season so he just gets the nod from Brownhill.
JBG is a no brainer, little option, fit, but if he doesn't get on it has to be Lennon, IF he is eligible.
I'd bring Vyds and Brownhill on to give them a run and keep the pressure on, and I hope SD gives a youngster a run out if the state of play allows.
Utilising the bench has to be our best chance this season, and we don't have a history of it.

Re: Today’s Team
Few injuries and didn’t Jay become a dad? Sounds understandable that he wasn’t at his best. Vydras pace and movement is a plus, but Jay is a better, more seasoned option at this level for me…
Re: Today’s Team
Collins to come off the bench and score from a set piece prediction by me.

Re: Today’s Team
Midfield will be McNeil Westwood, Cork and Brownhill.
If we are getting beat or drawing JBG will be introduced in the 70th minute for Brownhill and Rodriguez for Vydra
Wood and Vydra up front. Pope in goal. Back 4 of Taylor Mee, Tarkowski and Lowton

I reckon that he will go Barnes and Wood against Brighton, worked well at the Amex a couple years ago.

Re: Today’s Team
Probably our strongest available XI, Jay has earned his start due to his pre-season form, and the bench has plenty of options for once.
Let's get off to a winning start and put last season swiftly to bed.
