Just imagine a potential bench consisting of the likes of Bards, Erik, Stephens, Lennon, Barnsey. Exciting eh ?

In terms of utility he could be a useful player, plays predominately as a CM but can play on the left and rightburnley007 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 12:53 pmJust when you think we have reached rock bottom....a 32yr old League 1 player gets linked...ffs![]()

Nothing wrong with Erik who I think is very underrated. There is a lot wrong with Lennon, Stephens and Barnes for a PL bench.SkiptonClaret wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 12:24 pmNot quite. Lennon.

We previously had weeks of rumours around a Bugle from Derby and now we have spent weeks discussing a Cornet. Maybe next transfer window we will spend the time perusing the likes of Eddie Euphonium or Tommy Trumpet.

Haha good point. However at 18 years old and already looking like a star we should be all over this type of player.Local cricketer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 2:09 pmHe’s about 15 years to young for us and he’s to attacking
He will be worth 25m in 9 months if he has a good season for Fulham

West Ham & Porto (from the country he was born in) have enquired about him and he is still signing a new deal at Fulham, what would us being all over it achieve ?Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 2:14 pmHaha good point. Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
Dychey has only ever signed one player with pace that I can remember from the top of my head. He isn’t going to change now he is all about workhorses so buying a 18 year old with pace and a Portuguese name is never going to happen

I am just realistic. If clubs like West Ham & Porto have enquired and not appealed enough to prevent him from agreeing a new deal what makes you think we would appeal ?Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 2:24 pmNot think this is the type of player we should be after? You say he could be worth 25m in 9 months, do you think Fulham would be looking for a fee a lot less than that now, with a wealthy owner, parachute payments and a very good chance of promotion now they have got rid of Parker.#
Transfers are a bit harder than watching a game on sky. seeing someone young score and then claim we should be in for him.

Surely we could afford an 18 year old lad with a handful of games to his name. I'm astonished that people haven't yet got that its perfectly acceptable to like a player, but not perfectly acceptable to be astonished that our football team doesn't want them.

If you really think around the 7m mark while listing all those attributes he has, then I can understand why you think we should be signing him.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 2:32 pmSurely we could afford an 18 year old lad with a handful of games to his name. I also find it astonishing that people have given their opinions on who we should sign despite knowing nothing about the players personal circumstances nor if they would ever be willing to play here - but because they rate them personally, Burnley Football Club should sign them at any cost and are most offended when we aren’t even linked.Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 2:32 pmI'm astonished that people haven't yet got that its perfectly acceptable to like a player, but not perfectly acceptable to be astonished that our football team doesn't want them.

Alternatively, just treat this message board for what is it and you won't need to be so astonished. An informal discussion website for fans that covers all aspects of the club and beyond.

Can’t understand why we haven’t delved into the depth of knowledge of posters on here. Surely missing a trick as to how to spend millions.
Remember when we brought in Keith Newton and the following year, Peter Noble!!!
Posters now would be apoplectic to bring in two ‘has beens’
