It would be a lot harder for Norwich to defend if we mixed our play more. Cross cross cross.

Absolutely p1ss poor this!
Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
Playing a team like Norwich has dropped us to their level. Which is why we played better against Leicester and put in better performances against much better teams.

Lowton has a great chance but puts it over. Great play from Brownhill.

Not quite.
Just one of those games. Frustrating for much of it but a reasonable effort.

So glad we offered that 4 year new deal.
We do have talent in our ranks but the buck stops with the manager. He's not making it happen any more.

That's what I don't get. We put in some great performances when it matters less. When it comes to 6 pointers we're lackluster.

When does a manager admit he cannot influence change anymore, irrespective of how good they have been historically and the achievements they have had

A really poor display again. We have nowhere near tested Krull enough. We used to be flat track bullies, we aren't that anymore
Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
We haven't been good enough but the ref has been shocking. Should have had a stone wall penalty and all 3 points..

Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
Usually optimistic that we'll be okay but after this I'm not so sure. What hope do we have if we can't beat Norwich at home? Not just that but the performance was abysmal.

0 wins in 15 now at home isn't it and 4 wins in 27? That's not a blip unfortunately

Not great but 2 games without defeat. A few players to come back from injury.
Disappointing not to win but no need to get upset and moaning. It is what it is.

Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
So, so disappointing.
Mr Dyche really needs to pull out all the stops and justify his new bumper contract.
He’s done it before and I’m sure he’ll do it again.

Not good and if we find three teams we're better than over the course of this season I'll be very relieved
Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
Definitely missed Cornet. There is no coincidence that our performance turned to **** when he went off last game.

Positives - Collins, Brownhill
Negatives - toothless
Reality - That's must be what it feels like to play Burnley.

Start with Lennon and you know we are a team in big trouble
Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
Let’s hope Dyche has the same view we’ll soon be moving up the table with that attitudeJimmyRobbo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 4:56 pmNot great but 2 games without defeat. A few players to come back from injury.

Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
Can’t believe how much we are relying on a player who has played 90 minutes for us but christ almighty.

Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
Not great but not as bad as some are making out, clean sheet and another point on the board, which with other results means we're still well in touch with Newcastle & Southampton.
Yes we need to start winning games, but that's 2 draws on the bounce now, and just like last season if we stay in games eventually we'll start turning these draws into wins.

Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
Central creative midfielder needed badly in Jan, can't rely on Cornet being fit all season to create for us, we need more like him, how Cork can't get in that midfield is beyond me
Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
At what point does it stop becoming moaning? 4 wins out of 30? 4 wins out of 40? 4 wins out of 50?

Sounds as though we've fully justified a final 30 seconds slot on MOTD

Dyche is a lucky man he signed that contract. Only manager in world football that survives this run and style of play.

Re: Burnley v Norwich: Match thread
If we can't beat one of the poorest teams I have seen in the Prem, then we are in real trouble! Do we practice set pieces? Even our corners are overhit! No plan B. No change in passing. Hanley dealt with every high ball, do we change it no!
And to top it all he starts Lennon.
