Victorian Tile Restoration.
Victorian Tile Restoration.
In the process of renovating our house we've found the original Victorian floor tiles in the vestibule. They're covered in carpet glue and 100 years of grime. Just wondering if anyone knows anyone locally who restores tiles or anyone has any tips? Did a quick Google and really only found sites advertising their products. Thanks in advance.

Make sure you use a mild mix of Acid at first. Maybe even try white vinegar before buying specialist stuff.
There will be more videos linked to the video as well.

Re: Victorian Tile Restoration.
I’ve used a heat gun and a large blade to remove carpet glue before. Worked pretty well.

You could give Gardners Cleaning Services a call. A local company and very experienced. They've seen it all before and won't mess you aboutCoshack wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 6:13 pmIn the process of renovating our house we've found the original Victorian floor tiles in the vestibule.
