Ranieri is now favourite, replacing Martinez in the betting.

Changing managers regularly works for Chelsea, as shown by the trophy haul...
Spending lots of money has possibly helped a bit too?
With regard to the OP, the most staggering thing for me was to look at Tony's list and find myself thinking:
'Oh, not as many as I'd thought.'

Interesting and surprising. Where have you heard this? I suspect you'd get decent odds on that.

Cheers. It just says that they are not considering sacking OGS but if he do it's possible they might be interested in Southgate.

I see at as the complete opposite, they have had a decent start to the season and it’s not deemed good enough.
They have a quality starting eleven they will stay up comfortably this season

That defence doesn’t exactly scream quality to me. And Danny Rose looks about two stone overweight.

Southgate was absolutely bang average at club level, let's not revise history there with that one.
He's done very well overhauling the England set up from youth level to senior team and he's rightly lauded for what he's achieved so far.
I think it would be a mistake for him to take the Utd job at this moment in time, with a world cup round the corner and he's riding the crest of the wave after reaching the Euros final which millions of us never expected to happen.
There's a very real chance he gets it right again to reach the semis or finals of the world cup, can't see why he'd throw that away for Utd.

I'm not suggesting that Watford will pay compensation at the level Chelsea have in the past. No, I don't want you compare their wealth. It's the manager's salary and length of contract that typically determines the amount of compensation payable in the event of dismissal. Pace isn't at all wealthy by comparison yet if he chooses to sack Dyche he will be due a large sum of compensation from the club. I'm suggesting it's standard practice for premier league clubs to pay significant sums of money if they sack their manager and this is reflected in the media and even a club's own financial accounts.

I don’t know how you define multi but 4/5 years ago the compensation payout was 0:8m. I understand some sort of inflation could happen 4 years later but it’s some fair going.

I didn't use the word 'multi' so I'll refrain from defining it in this context - I think I said significant compensation. You post that article after suggesting such reports are unreliable. I don't think ths one is reliable because I'm pretty sure the Conte compensation is inaccurate.

That’s the very point I’m making nobody knows for sure, that article I’ve posted could be a load of rubbish for all I know unless we work in the finance department at Watford it’s all guesswork, I’m judging things overall with Watford as a club with how they spend money & crucially how much & roughly going from there. It will be significant we are talking about premier league it can’t be anything else.

Unsurprisingly he’s taking over the ejector seat. According to Sky tweet.

Can you read ? Not anywhere does it claim "United are lining up Southgate" it is basically some unheard of journalist expressing a view United may possibly consider him.

I saw Dyche is 20/1 for the boot on skybet last night but the maximum bet allowed is only £20.
Could it be a sign?

100% it is a sign.
You can only get £20 on it being Klopp, Tuchel or Guardiola as well. The sign is the market has a £20 cap

On the desktop version of the site, there's a flame emoji next to threads that are very active. We could do with a wormhole one for threads where Jakubclaret is very active.

I always wondered what the symbols against the thread meant
