Isn't it because of Stockport throwing money at it that led to Joey Barton leaving Fleetwood when they signed his main goalscorer Paddy Madden.

Wow unreal signing for Stockport, he’s nicknamed the Manchester Messi for a reason absolutely class on his day. Only 29 aswell.

He was one of the best players in League 1.

Big fall out with Evatt when left out of team at Plymouth after starting all previous games
Apparently no way the split can be rectified so Stockport offered him 2 1/2 year deal as they are desperate to get promoted back to the EFL
Players apparently had a meeting after the Plymouth defeat in an attempt to clear the air and get back to winning ways v Gillingham on Saturday
There is apparently a lot happening and suggestions that Doyle may be leaving also

Evatt appears to be a bit of a Bully.

I got that impression of Evatt last season when he publicly told his young GK to ‘man up’ after making a mistake during a game. Awful man management.
