Quizzes. Is it me?
Watching the Tournament and the Chase, both presented by ya Safferners, and there are so many questions beginning “what(insert b,d,t,p,etc)?” and I mis-hear the consonant every time.
I’d rather not use sub-titles and don’t think I’m going deaf. Anybody else suffer similar?

Re: Quizzes. Is it me?
The woman presenting The Tournament has a dreadful speaking voice. I am hard of hearing and generally use subtitles but I definitely need them for this programme. In fact, I have stopped watching it because her voice is so penetrating and yet her words are indecipherable.

Re: Quizzes. Is it me?
We like the formula but can’t be done with contestants trying to psyche the other out. So we record it and then ff through. Gets a 45 minute show down to the opening 8 questions and 6x2minute rounds.spadesclaret wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 7:26 pmThe woman presenting The Tournament has a dreadful speaking voice. Try adding a 3.1 system, or at least a soundbar. Makes the world of difference to dialogue.
