It's a no from me and the three who normally come with me.
And I'm getting refunds on our Villa(a) tickets when I can.
If the players can't be arsed (viz Leeds), then neither can I.

Was organising a trip for 15 to 20 of us to come over from Hebden. I have to work now and to be honest I think I would rather work.
We will play a weakened team in the cup again and may well lose.
After watching us at Leeds I think work has done me a favour.

I can't speak for everybody but I don't pick and choose games based on whether we will win or lose, if I did that I would probably go on about 3 games a season, but if you did do this then so what.
I'm a season ticket holder and have been for 50 years give or take and will be on every game (and no I am not a superfan and certainly do not have claret tinted glasses), but i don't think Dyche gives a toss about the cups so why should I.

If you really wanted to go, then you'd sit somewhere else, with probably a better view than where you sit.... And book before Saturday at the lower prices

But it's not £20, it'll be colder up Pendle, so what if you can't have your (obviously precious) seat! Very poor excuses for an obviously fair-weather 'supporter'.

It will probably be colder uo pendle, but as with most things you can decide on the day whether to do the activity or not.

There's a global pandemic on, with record numbers of cases, postponements left right and centre, people having to isolate, yet if you decide on the day there's an increase...
Add the fact I cannot sit in my season ticket seat with the people I usually sit with.

Of course I'm a "fair weather" supporter 90% of our fans are, we only have 500 ( probably less ) true fans that go on every single game regardless.

Is that right about having to go to the ticket office? Mine came via email within a minute of booking, and not loaded onto our cards

You can excuse people for potentially wanting to avoid needing to chase up 5 games worth of refunds, that are probably well over £100 in cost.

£100 they wouldn't have had the games gone ahead, so I doubt they need the refund ASAP

Therefore no point buying tickets before the day as may still be positive / isolating.

Absolutely no way I will pay the extra on the day should I be able to go.

Correct, but they didn't get the product, activity or entertainment they paid for, so are now left with out their money, nothing in return for their initial out lay and yet to receive any information on what their options are, nor when they can expect a refund.

Surely you can see why anyone who is concerned about the rise in covid cases, wary of postponements and travel arrangements would want to risk deciding days in advance or suffer a price hike.

Also kids return to school and many people back at work this week, potential for lots of people to contract covid and have to isolate.

Absolutley no for me, I have supported the Clarets for over 50 year....but with all honesty I am a fair weather supporter. I go to a match to be entertained and not as a routine thing to do. Its shocking to watch at the moment, and I have better things to do. I dont even watch us on the TV anymore which speaks volumes...but fair play to you all that go on every game and go to away games.

On a more serious note, I was going to make a decision on the day with Kids going back to school this week, I just knew it would be my luck that I would get ill if I was to buy a ticket. Also there is no refund if I was to test positive and the game went ahead.

Now I have seen the pricing goes up (and Im still not clear which one is right) -I have decided that I will just find a stream - feel this approach is daft and almost like Im being penalised by trying to take a sensible approach.

Still don't agree with changing the price on match day when there is a pandemic on and it's clear many people will want to hold on to their money until they know that they are able to attend because they are not suffering with Covid as there is no way to get a refund if you can't attend from what I can see.

I know its only a fiver more but it's the principle.

The higher price on the day is what the Club normally do for cup games, presumably to encourage people to buy in advance to then allow them to sort out staffing, catering etc. But they don't seem to have given consideration to the Covid issue and the fact that probably more people than usual would be reticent to commit in advance but then may not want to pay an extra £5 on the day.

Don't recall them having done it before this season. In 2019/20, the last season we could go to cup games, we had a higher price for non-season ticket holders than season ticket holders but no increases on the day.
