Re: Burnley v Huddersfield - Match Thread
Should be 1-2, fabulous save from Nick Pope.
Surprised people have defended this performance, this has been a disgusting 2nd half where we have created nothing and sat back allowing the second string of a lower tier side to come on to us.

Should be 2-1 down, first a header saved by Pope then from the corner a free header over.

Good save, Nick

46 games of this to look forward to next season. Absolutely clueless football.

Re: Burnley v Huddersfield - Match Thread
I got shot down in flames recently for suggesting that our first priority is to ensure that we can at least stabilise in the Championship. This game underlines that. It is improbable that we will survive this season and likely that with this squad we would struggle to mount a promotion challenge next season. Exciting times

Re: Burnley v Huddersfield - Match Thread
We've given more soft goals away this season, then I can recall in the past 4/5 years combined.

This is an absolute embarrassment.
We are so poor it’s untrue.
Don’t anyone tell me Lowton is having a great season, he’s as average as they come.

We have got to test this young lad in goal. Has he had anything to do since he came on? I can't remember it if he did?

Re: Burnley v Huddersfield - Match Thread
We are poor in so many departments at the moment.
No ball control
No vision
No pace
No composure
No movement
Very little skill
It is going to take a hell of a lot to improve this team, because it looks like many of them have given up the ghost.
I said the start of the season that I can live with defeats, so long as the performance is alright. Well performances have fallen off a cliff.

The commentator has just called us "Dads Army", I had to nod in agreement. For those who seem to think Stephens could be the answer to our problems, jesus effing christ that is grasping at straws indeed.

Lets have a bit of perspective, this is a very good Huddersfield team and apart from a 10 min blip we've more than held our own. Can see us hanging on and getting it to Pens where our older heads will give us the edge

Abject, appalling, disgusting yet again second half. Too many senior players simply tossing it off. PATHETIC!

The 5 in the midfield has certainly helped with ball possession but we don't have any answers to get a decent shot. Tarks and Mee looked gassed...

On this showing ,with this squad were mid table at best next year.
We’re lacking and making the same mistakes we make week in week out, passing , marking , pace, Basics of football

I don’t think it should come as a surprise to anyone. The one negative I’ll take from Dyche’s reign that is he has totally killed cup football for me. I can’t recall feeling less up for a Burnley game than this one today.

Do we ever practice crossing the ball ffs ?
Re: Burnley v Huddersfield - Match Thread
So he takes off the only player who can keep hold of the ball.

Horrendous pass from Cork, the passing in this game has been below Championship level from us. Lazy, half-arsed, telegraphed.
Absolutely shocking.
