From what I have heard about our chairman, as well as being a money man he loves football, hopefully he will be inspired by our legendary footballers and fantastic football and will ensure that Dyche has the finance to get back to the Defour period when we played some brilliant football. UTC.

Nice! Half and half with it or garlic bread?

I'll have a guess..... half and half would be out because I doubt you do chips much these days, and garlic bread is a bit stodgy.

So I'm going for just rice with it?
Basmati Rice - only one portion of chilli left too in the freezer so need to get cooking some more

Some pleasing positive comments on this last page or so. Like everyone, I’m hoping for confirmation of good news over this weekend and hoping it’s not the end of our January business.

Been a while since I have felt this optimistic about our future. Even if survival doesn't happen, it won't have been through lack of trying all the way through the club.

It can’t be true, I read on here that we wouldn’t sign anyone. I also read that we had to sell lots of players and that we had no money to invest. I also read that we were relegated……

Maybe the deal is done
Do you think that the deal will be rubber-stamped after Dinamo's match on Sunday CT? Do they still want him to play that match? Just a thought

Ramsey loan deal seems to be still on the table? maybe he'll accept us on deadline day if bigger sides don't come in for him. I assume that's what he's waiting for
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, we are the only ones interested in Ramsey now.

All very exciting.

2 signings and a loan in one weekend.

Reports of the 6'6" Dutchman being in Burnley, knocking on our door!

all depends if we wants to play football or earn 400K a week sitting in the stands. Hopefully Roberts and Hennessey will persuade him to join us

I can't see it happening with Ramsey. He isn't going to be daft enough to walk away from 400k per week for the sake of half a season, far lower wages and a tough relegation scrap.

I think the only reason he had interest in Newcastle is because he thought he might get the wages.

I really hope we do bring in a midfielder, but I can't see it being Ramsey.

The World Cup playoffs are in March, this will almost certainly be his last chance of playing at a World Cup so I'd say there is a good chance he'd rather be playing regularly than twiddling his thumbs at Juventus, even if it does cost him a bit of dosh.

He wouldn't be walking away from 400k in wages, it would be a loan, we would pay a contribution of his wages to Juve, he would receive his wages in full.

Pretty sure you also said we won’t be signing anyone. So I can view this comment as a positive in that it’s now highly likely Ramsey will join us.

I think that’s all we’ve asked for for the last three years which is at least having a go at it rather than just sleep walking towards relegation.

Fabrizio Romano - Juventus will try to find a solution for Aaron Ramsey before Monday - Burnley want to sign him immediately but there's no green light on player side as of now.

Aaron Ramsay is being offered the chance to play regular premier league football and potentially show people he’s still up to that standard and maybe get himself what he would class as a bigger opportunity In the summer. If he’s happy not playing in Italy while picking up his 400k a week wages and he’s happy to sit on his backside then for me he can stay there, not the kind of character we need certainly not in a relegation battle.

Ramsey would be crazy not to wait until the last minute. More attractive offers could come in. Hope not though as he’d be an excellent signing.

Spot on. The ideal opportunity to show other clubs and the Wales manager he still has what it takes at the top level. If it's a loan he has nothing to lose otherwise he'll just stagnate sat on the bench in Italy.

If Juve say he is frozen out, them they really only have 2 options. Sell or loan. Otherwise its a waste of money

If Ramsey is frozen out, he has 2 options. Stay for the wage, or go elsewhere to play (surely he wants to play and get the same wage)

If we are the only taker then the only logical outcome is a loan and we contribute to the wages

So I'm certain now, based on all that, that he will be staying at Juve

Surely Juve would accept a loan to save some money. I’d imagine we’d pay a quarter of what he’s on for a short term deal?

Hope we’re not putting all our CM eggs in this basket because a a very late notice final rejection would leave us little time to move on an alternative.
Would like a deal for Fulgini with Ramsey a bonus extra if we do pull it off. Too high risk to approach this in another way.

Also thinking about Prem teams who are bringing in CMs.
Sounds like Donny VDB is going to Palace.
Does that free up Will Hughes or McArthur who won’t now be getting game time.

I’m sure we’ve got options if we’re after a CM. Can’t see Will Hughes leaving Palace though.

If clubs wanted Ramsey they’d be all over him by now, he’s a big name and it’s well publicised he’s available.

I really have a feeling we might get him. Am I insane?

Any chance you could have a word Jedi?

Something along the lines of “you can get on the plane to Manchester Aaron, Burnley is the club you are looking for”

A wave of the hand and it’s a done deal.

The fact that it seems they're being a bit stubborn - just don't want to get my hopes up too much in case a Grosicki-esque situation unfolds :)

According to the BBC, Ramsey has turned down a whole host of clubs, including Newcastle and Villa. I get the feeling he has the futile hope of returning to Arsenal. I can't see any other reason for turning down clubs of their stature. There's exciting times at Villa and if Newcastle buy their way out of trouble this season, who knows what they will do in the summer.

Just read Paul Joyce in The Times saying "Burnley, Watford and Newcastle remain interested in Liverpool centre back Nat Phillips".

If that's true about Newcastle then he won't come here of course, but thought would flag it.

Come on Aaron, real chance to re ignite your career

Hennessey and Roberts, have a word!
Would be an impressive signing. Is he injured atm though? Or just not playing because they don't like him?

Sorry I'm a bit glued to twitter right now, so another bit of interesting news...

The post reads : "GNK Dinamo will publish information on the transfer of Mislav Oršić on its channels at 10:00. #dinamozagreb"

(Which is in less than 10 mins)
Hmmm would you really unleash bad news on your fanbase in such a manner?

If we get two internationals over the line whilst we’re in our position we’ll have done very well. Although they won’t do anything to address our lack of young legs they should be just what we need to create enthusiasm and the belief that we can escape relegation, plus they might hit the ground running, which is often the hardest task of all. Let’s hope we can push these through to give us a fresh look.
