Derby v Birmingham
32k at Derby in the Championship, unreal support.
If they win they will only be 5 points from safety which is outstanding considering they got deducted 21 points !!
Iv found myself having a soft spot for them hoping they survive, it would be some story if they pulled it off.
Rooney is doing a magnificent job.

Very impressed with Rooney. What a job he’s done so far.
Re: Derby v Birmingham
Hope they go down. I feel sorry for the clubs that do their business properly.

Re: Derby v Birmingham
Birmingham lead 1-0.
Might be better for Derby to get new owners in and get relegated to League One, the support will still be there, gets higher earners either wage reductions or sold and they can start fresh.

Some limbs in that away end when they scored.
Re: Derby v Birmingham
Just brilliant support.
My heart breaks for them that they face the possibility of losing their club because of the sheer incompetence of a small group of decision makers.

Re: Derby v Birmingham
Knight and Lawrence both in Derby's line-up, Juke on the bench for Brum.
It's a shame for the Derby fans that their club is in a mess, but equally they need to sort their affairs out.
I only hope BFC don't face these issues in the next couple of years.

Rooney keeping Derby up would be up there with Bournemouth's rise from the 4th tier to the Premier League and Leicester winning the league in terms of football fairytale's and like a lot of football purists im rooting for Rooney all the way

I hope WR does the business too, but at the moment, Brum are bossing this, Derby not really troubling them.

Re: Derby v Birmingham
Obviously Rooney is doing a good job. But it they hadn’t had a points deduction they would only be 16th in the league. Not exactly a miracle is it.

Half time and Birmingham lead 1-0 but in all truth it is a very poor game and both teams are lacking a lot of quality.

2-0 now
Re: Derby v Birmingham
Each to their own with their views on Derby. Whatever happened under the Mel Morris stewardship, or should I say lack of stewardship isn’t the fault of the fans. The club has a proud history and that relatively new ground is a good football ground for viewing football and a cracking atmosphere. If we do go down this season I hope Rooney does manage to keep them up. It is a good away day and there are two cracking ale pubs close to the railway station.

Re: Derby v Birmingham
Excellent news. The sell - out crowd today follows a march through the city labelled as a "Save our Club" do so it's nothing but a gimmick.
I hate the fact these cheats weren't punished by relegation. They'll probably survive anyway, get taken over - I see they've been given even more time to sort their affairs out - and no doubt embark on a "fairy - tale" rise to the top. Rooney the hero. Pathetic.

Re: Derby v Birmingham
2-2 in 6th min of stoppage time (5 added) but would have been ruled out in the Premier League. Clearly offside.

Great scenes at the end. Can’t beat a 95th min overhead kick to equalise.

Re: Derby v Birmingham
Possibly that too but the offside from a set piece is an easy one for the assistant.

Crazy end and Birmingham will be wondering how they let that 2 goal lead slip.

They would be 15th without the 21 point deduction.

Re: Derby v Birmingham
I work with Derby fans, they speak very highly of Rooney. I was told Rooney payed for the players hotel at a recent away game because the club didn’t have the money, not sure how true that is but I hope it is, you’d run through brick walls for a manager that supported you the way he has been doing, turning down the Everton interview etc
