Weghorst played 90 10 days ago so should be in top shape.
With Cornet I think they had hoped he played more in the AFCON. I don't think he'll have much match fitness which is a concern given his habit to get injured.

Still, I'd rather start Cornet and take him off later rather than leave him as a sub.

Reading between the lines of his press conference, I think he likes what he sees with Weghorst.

He's gotta go with his strongest team from the start. We don't have time with this bedding in nonsense.

If Barnes is fit for 60 muns, do you play him alongside WW, win free kicks, in dangerous positions? Dwight and maxwell on the wings. Lennon on move Max up top?
With central mid not creating much, might be our best hope of assists?

Exactly! lose tomorrow and it'll require Tom Cruise to ride to the rescue, win and it's a whole different ball game.

Now if we were playing a bigger fish then I may think differently, but Watford is one of the 6/7 games that offer us our greatest hope of the much needed wins, so go strong from the start, and then all being well and we have a 2/3 goal lead SD can always ring the changes later on and rest some legs.

I will be surprised if Cornet does not complete his usual 60 minutes. Amazed if the Dutchman doesn’t at least feature, hopefully start.

Jay up front and Cornet and WW on the bench would be the most Dyche thing ever

Well if he did that and we lost he'd come in for severe flak on this MB, and quite rightly so too.

Other clubs throw new signings in straight away, did Newcastle wait before playing Chris Wood a couple of days after signing him, no they didn't because they recognise the dire importance of getting points ASAP.

I sincerely hope SD is being coy about our starting XI just to keep Hodgson and Watford guessing.
