No quality, lost count of the amount of times both teams put the ball out of play and misplaced passes.

We are bottom for a reason that’s where we will finish. We are by far the worst team in the league.

Rightly got booed off, Championship next season even the most optimistic fan surely can’t see a way out of this.

Doubt there will be many games on at Towneley tomorrow. I was disappointed at the final whistle but on encountering the weather conditions round by the Jimmy Mc I changed my opinion. Virtually impossible to play football in those conditions and I wonder if it might have been abandoned at half time but for the furore surrounding this fixture.

Let's not go over the top. Absolutely not. But it's very worrying that despite doing well for games against better sides where we gain decent points we have played the worst against Newcastle Leeds Norwich and now Watford.

Fair enough but I'm wondering which games you've seen at this level where conditions were worse. For me there are two major aspects of a game at professional level that we expect; controlling the football and passing the football. Both were seriously impeded tonight. You finished off saying 'it wasn't that bad tonight'. Just wondering what you would suggest could be worse. And I am excusing the players efforts tonight, from both sides. They 'got on with it' but surely it has got to be worth more than that.

No, every week this season people have said the game just gone was the worst they'd ever seen. 2 reasons.

1) Coumpouding frustration week on week.

Our build up - such as it is - is so slow and predictable. The only player trying to pass down the channels was the right back. This depends on forwards moving too. He put one in the channel for Rodriguez in the second half and JRod didn't read it and stayed motionless on the centre spot.

It wasn’t near “abandoned” because of the quality of the pitch and the drainage. You may have been to windier matches but I don’t believe you’ve been to the Turf when it’s been as wet, windy and cold, well not in the last 40 years.

I remember a game in Stan's last season with us that was postponed just before kick off because of high winds( presumably seen as a danger to spectators) yet last nights game continued with arguably much worse conditions and spectators in the ground. I'm all for 'getting on with the game' but at points, certainly in the second half, conditions were as bad as anything I can recall and as for having seen 'far better performances in far worse conditions than last night' I simply ask when?

The creative movement and unshackled tactical freedom displayed by the poo bag got my vote for man of the match, such a shame its fellow midfielders played like the contents of our star midfielder.
