Re: Sack Dyche now
I agree Big Cha Cha. Being critical of posters and failing to respectful of others opinions must start at the top.
Questioning the manager is both natural and logical at this juncture,
He’s had opportunity to mould the team as he wants.
He’s had time to instil a style of play.
He’s had time to change our style of play.
His insistence on a ‘character type’ and bringing in old heads to keep us afloat is short term thinking which our manager couldnt afford to be so steadfast with. Its kicked the can down the road for 12-18 months and its coming home to roost.
The only saving grace for him is maybe the financial restrictions.
But I guess theres more than a few that would have a belief that the issue is the style of play - regardless of personnel

Re: Sack Dyche now
Surely the focus on this thread needs to come back on the subject matter as certain posters’ egos are of no significance.
I think everything that needed to be said about Dyche after the Watford result has been said.

like I said, take a few days off before you unnecessarily embarrass yourself furtherKRBFC wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 6:52 pmI don't consider crashing out before the proper tournament gets underway as qualifying. Same as I don't consider Celtic qualifying for the UCL if they crash out in qualifying for the group stages. I take your point though, you consider the group stage qualifying rounds as the actual tournament despite zero prize money on offer and different TV deals.
By definition it's called ''UEFA Europa League qualifying phase and play-off round'' you are competing for qualification for that years tournament.

inevitably after a great performance, they scuttle back under their stones. Pathetic. not a word of praise either. embarrassing supporters.

Finally picked our best team and no surprise we created a lot more with McNeil on the right and Cornet on the left. Well done SD

Not sure that calling them 'supporters' is correct!Wile E Coyote wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 11:31 pminevitably after a great performance, they scuttle back under their stones. Pathetic. not a word of praise either. embarrassing supporters.

Tonight shows that even if we do go down we'd have too much grit and determination for many sides in the Championship if SD stayed in charge.

Re: Sack Dyche now
if you listen to the Dyche interview from today it would seem he also thought the first half today was absolute dog ****, I've NEVER heard him call out half the team before. I think his words were along the lines of "5 of them didn't play/weren't good enough in the first half". So people have a right to say we were **** especially when the manager backs that up. Second half was superb thoughWile E Coyote wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 11:31 pminevitably after a great performance, they scuttle back under their stones. One swallow…..there’s been some awful football this season. Plenty of praise on the match day and player rating threads for tonight’s game and rightly so for that 2nd half.

i agree with all that you've said apart from using the word supporter. that they are not.Wile E Coyote wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 11:31 pminevitably after a great performance, they scuttle back under their stones. Pathetic. not a word of praise either. embarrassing supporters.
Re: Sack Dyche now
Sorry Superfan. How dare anyone criticise a manager who's delivered shocking football and shocking results for the past 18 months. If last night was a turning point then great. If not, he deserves the criticism.Wile E Coyote wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 11:31 pminevitably after a great performance, they scuttle back under their stones. Re: Sack Dyche now
What is it with you absolute barnpots and exaggeration?
Its not been shocking football and shocking results for 18 months has it?
If it had, we still wouldn't be in the premier league
I'd be more prepared to listen to people if actual dialled it back a bit with some sensible criticism, but no, its a race to see who can come out with the most outlandish statement
Still, some way to go before you beat "we didn't qualify for Europe" I suppose

It's not been shocking football? Christ, we struggle to pass the ball 5 yards, so resort to lumping it. That's not good football and not effective football either.Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 7:36 amWhat is it with you absolute barnpots and exaggeration?

Lancs, best to ignore them. You'd be better wasting your time by having a go at random street ranters than some of the people on this thread.

Im not sure you and the other idiots understand. Being a supporter means you SUPPORT the team and manager through thick and thin. We don’t need you constantly spreading negativity all the time. Without stating the obvious, It just doesn’t help. please go and support someone else. I for one am sick to death of reading yours and others constant whinging posts.

Re: Sack Dyche now
You are doing it again
I'm never going to take a poster seriously, and never not take the p**s when you can't even see what you are doing
Again, if it was as bad as you say for eighteen months (which it obviously isn't) then we wouldn't be in the premier league
That doesn't mean its been brilliant and world beating either btw, its just some of you can't see just how much you have to exaggerate (and each of you then outdoes each other with the next post) , and for the life of me I can't see why

Re: Sack Dyche now
It’s just so inconsistent every now & again like last night we put a decent 45min shift in & about 50 odd games which were the opposite are just forgotten about.
Re: Sack Dyche now
So what about now you naysayers?
Re: Sack Dyche now
What one good half of football this season and you want to crow about it?

Re: Sack Dyche now
We have played well in patches this season, first 70 minutes against Brighton, first 60 mins at Everton, 1st half at Leicester, 1st half against Brentford.
However where I would agree with you is we haven't yet put together a 90 minute performance.
Hopefully last night will prove a turning point as SD clearly got a tune out of them 2nd half, so whatever he said in his HT team talk got the desired reaction.
Now we need to take that forward into the Liverpool game, and the games after that.

I’m still convinced that one quality midfielder that we failed to bring in would have made all the difference.

Without a convincing argument to support the stance though, the other side just need to simply point the results & form out.boatshed bill wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 12:31 pmLooks like some of the pro Dyche lobby enjoys the argument more than the sack Dyche lot to me
