From the radio it sounds like we've had a good first half, their goal aside.
Creating a few, WW is being a handful.
A bit of luck and we'd be ahead.

We’ve done well first half. If we keeping playing like this and creating the goals will come. COYC
They might not come today, but if we keep playing like this, they’ll come in more important games.

So disappointing, need a couple of our chances to go in. Hope we come back at them second half. Not over yet.

Brentford are the team we should be looking to catch.

Anyhow, we should stop looking at the table and think about how to get 38 points. If we get there we will probably have beaten Watford, Norwich and Brentford who will be below us.

Still time to get something from this, today, which will be a bonus on the way to 38 points if we can nick a point (or more!)

At work, gutting to check in and see Alison is on three saves but we're a goal down. At least we're making the chances.

It’s a similar game to last season. We missed really good chances and they scored before half-time. Here’s hoping for a better second half this time.

I can take us losing these. We've given it a good go, so far. We're never likely to get even a point. At least we're fighting.

The reason we are bottom is because we have 1 win and nothing to do with other teams results.

Excellent half and one switch off puts us 1-0 down, the way it goes when you’re down the bottom. If we play like this against the teams around us and take our chances we’ll be fine.

Liverpool got out of jail but that’s what the top teams do. Good game plan by Sean but let down by front two. WW looked like a deer in headlights when he had 3 great chances

This is not bad luck. The conditions are bad here at the ground and we've missed 3 golden chances. You can't do that against anybody in this league, let alone Liverpool I'm afraid. Only ourselves to blame here at the moment.

I completely disagree. It's all about getting above and staying above three teams. No point obsessing over how many points might keep us up; the answer is one more than the team in 18th (or the same if GD is better).

I think our strikers are as surprised as we are with those chances. Bit more composure needed and less panic.

Why can't we play better against the poorer teams when we actually stand a chance to win?

So, half way through February and we've won one game.
I'm not expecting, nor is it/ was it ever likely we'd get something from today.
But I am intrigued as to who the six teams are we're going to beat to stay up.

We are creating those chances, something we have not been doing for a while. Confidence building and hopefully make it count against less clinical teams.

Mainly down to Liverpool’s very high defensive line and the wind causing problems with balls in the channel/over the top. Play that way v teams that are defending deeper (Watford and Norwich at home) and that space isn’t there.

Keep watching their goal and just can't understand why we didn't clear the ball. Roberts and Westwood stood ground and Mee at the last second decided to mark Fabinho. Such a let down given we're normally so good at defending.

I think that's the biggest difference this season. Lousy and lazier defending almost gifting goals at times.

If we can't beat the likes of Watford, Leeds and Norwich at home there isn't much hope

Unfortunately those same tactics won't work in 2nd half with wind behind

Brownhill has been excellent so far today.

And for those saying he can't pass he's currently at 81% for pass completion ;)
