To them maybe. Great to have someone in the team who can bring others into play.

Aye! course it would, I must be missing all those goals Chris Wood is scoring for Newcastle.

Wood will be in the PL next season, I'm still pleased we got 25-27 million for him though, offered nothing all season

In the PL maybe, but he'll be spending plenty of time on the Newcastle bench. And he also missed some good chances today.

As if it would have been 3-1 if Wood was playing 😀😀 He offered nothing for the most part this season. Weghorst offers us something different but I’m not convinced he’ll score many.

OP is on an obvious wind up. However, Chris Wood would have scored on that first chance Weghorst had where he should have just dinked it over Allison. Thought Weghorst was a threat today and his decision making in the final third will surely improve and I will bet he will get close to ten goals between now and the end of the season.

No he wouldn’t, his first touch would have seen the next touch a 50-50 with Allison.

OP reminds me of another Padiham Thickneck who eventually got banned. Maybe he’s back under a couple of new names. How many has Wood scored for Newcastle ?

Far better footballer than Wood, and to say he's had a couple of weeks in a new team, in a new league in a new country, I think he's done well, unfortunate not to have a goal or 2 to his name v excellent opposition

I've got him down for 20 goals in the championship next season.

There's some utter shite posted on this board, and i'll be honest, i have posted some of it myself, but shag me sideways Chris Wood scores today.... There wasn't enough chances in the whole of the PL today for that lad to score.
