So they let someone in without the physical season card. Unbelievable!
Yes, just like if they had passed it to them, or if someone used a QR code they printed off by a 3rd party and passed on.
Once you've bought your ticket, you may allow anyone you choose use it, its not a crime, and has always been the case as far as I'm aware.

For anyone wondering about seat swaps, I did email the club to ask, just had the reply:—
Thank you for your email.
We are unsure if there will be a seat swap period after early bird.
If there is any updates regarding a seat swap and when this will be, we will post this on our website closer to the time.
I would advise renewing your current seats and if one does become available to move when this occurs.
Guess we just wait and see…..

I know that Macca. But In the “photo of card” situation above I was worried about two people getting in with one card. I suppose the scanning system would block any second person though. My mistake.

They're probably only allowing renewals and no new sales In there.
Everyone's seat is reserved until 31st March.
So will show as sold out/unavailable
Thanks, Macca.
Gave the TO a ring and my seat renewed via Direct Debit in two minutes. Great service and a bargain even if we're in the Championship.

Absolutely 4 extra home games compared to the Premier league.
Looking at the potential teams in the championship next season, they'll be some cracking home games and away days...
We're down however hopefully trips to
Blackburn
Preston
Blackpool
Wigan
Huddersfield
Sheff Utd
Rotherham
Middlesbrough
N forest
Hull
Coventry
West Brom
Birmingham
Potentially ( depending on championship survival and play offs from league 1 )
Sunderland
Sheff W
Derby

I have received e-mails stating my early bird seat renewal ends March15 and I have to set up a DD or pay cash by that date.
I am also waiting for £4.25K to be added to my current season ticket re. share sales which I understood could be used for future season ticket purchases.
What are my options?
We currently have 2 very good seats in the BL and don't want to lose them , but I don't want to pay £524 (2 OAP's) when I could use credit due.

I've had an email stating that they're going to get the share money option sorted by this week and that I'd receive a phone call.
Will wait to see as nothing as yet

I'm in the same position, except that I haven"t received the e-mail and my credit is only £3,400.
I'd like to renew now but I don't want to waste money. I'll have a job spending my credit during my lifetime. I can't see me doing the 200 mile round trip to Turf Moor every fortnight when I'm in my eighties.

That would have a certain tidiness about it, Leisure, considering I was born in Burnley, but I've lived in Cumbria for forty four of my sixty nine years, and it's home.

I thought if you wanted to pay outright with cash the deadline was 31st March
The 15th deadline is for if setting up a monthly DD

I was thinking the same. I know all the caveats about wanting to play at the highest level etc. And we'll want to get promoted again, fair enough.
But that's a great list of games for the match going fan, particularly the aways in there. There's never a good time to go down but it's not my £100m loan to worry about repaying so let's just enjoy the days out.

Rang up the TO several times, and left a couple of messages in the last week however no joy.
Went down and was sorted in about 3 minutes, 3 renewals, different age brackets, 2 paying DD and 1 in full and it couldn't have been easier.
The young Brummie lad sorted it all for me, I just handed him the clarets numbers and the bank card, snd he returned it a couple of minutes later all done and dusted.
It really couldn't have been easier or faster.
Understand not all fans live close to the stadium, but if you can get down, just do it that way.

Absolutely, enjoying the day out, not to far to travel, cheaper travel, cheaper tickets, Saturday 3pm kick offs, and who knows we might win more than a few.
If we can go down, clear the decks, have a rebuild and come straight back up, then that's surely the best season possible, especially in the league with all those teams right on our doorstep.

Hallelujah - I’ve just logged in and finally my season tickets are in my basket.
Absolutely incredible that they can launch this, as they did, when it clearly didn’t work.

A word of praise for the ticket office, just to help balance the books, so to speak.
I e-mailed them this morning regarding a payment query and I received a very helpful,
informative reply within 2 hours with the problem fully resolved.
Credit where it's due.

They’ve been working with their hands tied behind their backs.

Sadly, I don't think that's been the only obstacle impeding them. Same old story in that
those at the sharp end always take the flack for the incompetence of others.
Shocking setup.

Not necessarily cheaper tickets though. Some of the Championship clubs charge more than £30 for away fans.

Tried loads of times to renew mine online over several days and simply couldn't do it and found it very frustrating. Phoned the ticket office today and tbf, great guy sorted it in minutes over the phone.

That's true Leeds was up nearer £40, and I think there was another that was around there too.
Nice to see you last week in Majitos, my "only having 1" turned into getting in at 1am

Like Dark Cloud above after attempts at sorting it every day for the last week, particularly after other posters said they could finally book their friends and family, I had to ring the ticket office to add karenbodge's ticket to my basket (a decision I may regret

).
They were very helpful and when i mentioned that the friends and family issue was widespread she said they are still working on it, that was at 9.30 this morning.
Advice to the likes of claretandy would definitely be to ring up to get it sorted as that website will drive you nuts otherwise.

I don’t need to add mine now, they are all in my basket when I login for all my friends & family.
