I would be on but too far to drive after work tonight
As season ticket holders we get to most games midweek and weekends but where do you suggest I pay to view the match?

I've heard Sky will show the full game, but not live. Sometime around 10pm - after the game has finished.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 9:58 amFoa Tribesman

Maybe there's a pub near where you are that will be showing the game.

You’d have to “subscribe” to a service that you can access via a firestick - much more reliable than searching for links streams each matchWoodleyclaret wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 9:58 amFoa Tribesman

Does the fact you have a season ticket entitle you to a subscribtion quality stream and a casting programme "That actually works"?

If the premier league had anything about them they would introduce a season ticket streaming package for each club in the UK as their already losing millions from illegal streams that are shown online. Would stop malware infecting everyones computers too. An absolute no brainer.

Hardly a no brainier as they would be in breach of the current broadcast deals if they tried now, or if they tried to introduce when the broadcast deals are renewed the money the broadcasters would be prepared to pay would be a fraction of the current market value.

My friend raves about IPTV on a Amazon Firestick but I do all my footy watching via PC. Is there any good IPTV services on PC that anyone could recommend? I appreciate some will have a price but happy to pay a fair amount which offers good quality and can be recommended.

Your best bet is to get something that works with Kodi. Either as an add-on or an m3u playlist. I can't recommend any specific services though.claretburns wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 4:22 pmMy friend raves about IPTV on a Amazon Firestick but I do all my footy watching via PC. I get you on that, however say your team sub cost £30 per month, £360 a year to watch home and away games for people that dont watch live anyway = £360, decent value.Reckoner wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 4:19 pmHardly a no brainier as they would be in breach of the current broadcast deals if they tried now, or if they tried to introduce when the broadcast deals are renewed the money the broadcasters would be prepared to pay would be a fraction of the current market value.
Say 10 million people watch illegal streams x £360 for a good reliable service without the chance to knacker your computer up = £3.6 billion. I dont know how much they pay at moment but that is a healthy amount of cash for those greedy bastards whichever way you cut it. Obviously sky want to monopolise the content in UK but Americans get all the games live on a Saturday for $5 a month, pretty annoying really.

Re: Reliable stream for tonight's game v Leicester
soon as you start selling season tickets for a specific club you are giving the big clubs more ammunition on the distribution rights sharing argument - the disparities many clubs in the EDL faced with ifollow during the nofan games was huge - remember the big clubs wanted it to be a facet of Project big Picture - for the few games it was talking about there I suggested it would see us with a minimum 50% drop in tv revenue.Superjohnnyfrancis wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 5:49 pmI get you on that, however say your team sub cost £30 per month, £360 a year to watch home and away games for people that dont watch live anyway = £360, decent value.

they would have to be many irrevocable agreements (extremely difficult to achieve and possibly illegal if considered a cartel practice) in place before such offerings could be made

Hi Superjf, I'm sure you are a long way off with "10 million people..." That assumes that every person watching has their own tv, and nobody shares a tv with anyone else... At most 25 million homes in the UK. I'd be surprised if 10% would want to pay to watch a football stream on their tv.Superjohnnyfrancis wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 5:49 pmI get you on that, however say your team sub cost £30 per month, £360 a year to watch home and away games for people that dont watch live anyway = £360, decent value.

Re: Reliable stream for tonight's game v Leicester
Would be nice to have the option, messing about with dodgy streams and clicking pop ups is pretty tiresome. Maybe they should do a trial with a few matches see how it goes, its got to be better than the current situation, I wonder how many hundreds of thousands of people watch illegal streams, i can imagine a lot of people in the UK do including the people that watch on bent kodi sticks or whatever they are sold down the pub. A legal alternative would be most welcome from my point of view.Paul Waine wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 6:58 pmHi Superjf, I'm sure you are a long way off with "10 million people..." I'm pretty hopeful of this one.
http://www.hesgoal.win/sports-hd6
Numerous links on this.

http://www.hesgoal.tv/
Another couple on here.
There's also VIPbox options. Get past the initial barrage of popups and they're normally very reliable.
And the old favourite, First row

I think it will come at some point - maybe as an add on, eg pay your Sky subscription at the normal rate but you can also choose one club that you can watch all of the matches.

They might have us down as one of Yorkshires grand old clubs, but think the BBC are doing radio commentary?
