He should have been demoted or removed from his duties after the VAR incident at Everton at the weekend. Where's the accountability for such an horrendous error?

Despite wishing to be overly critical,
A. Decision Making (including use of advantage) - 8
B. Consistency - 10
C. Fitness and Positioning - of 20
D. Control and Authority - out of 8
Absolutely inept. Was going to go against everything we did all match. Nothing summarised his performance more than half way through the 2nd half when he allowed their throw to advance about 20 yards downfield in front of SD as the ref said nothing. Dyche did, mind.

He looked nervous and probably knew he was under the spotlight.
I think he was praying we didn't get a result tonight to drop Everton unto the bottom 3, some if his decisions certainly seem that was the case.
He didn't seem to move out of the middle of the middle

Absolutely appalling but the most relieved man at Turf Moor with the Final Result.
At least he can referee a game on Merseyside again.

Shocking performance. I know we were a yard too slow on occasions tonight but he allowed the play to go on when our players were fouled. However he raced into give free kicks to Brendan’s boys without any hesitation. The two linesmen were equally inept. We get some right old rubbish from officials at the Turf.

Not worth scoring as he clearly wasn’t up to the job. Absolute garbage if this is an elite referee god help football he’s useless.
Made me laugh when he yellow carded one of our trainers who probably told him what everyone was thinking.

Doesn't even warrant a score. Continually giving decisions one way and ignoring others that challenge i Taylor at the end of the first half was dreadful. Really disgraceful. No card

It just about summed it up when Leicester had a corner late on and Soyuncu came forward Chris Kavanagh fist pumped him!

The only consistency from his performance was the bias in his decisions. After performances like that it wouldn't surprise me at all if it came out later he was tryna to match fix.
Granted, we didn't deserve anything from the game but somehow it feels with more fair decisions from the game we would have gotten a result.
I'm shocked at the standard of refs. There's one, maybe two who are decent and it's made worse by having another on VAR who also doesn't seem to know what they're doing.

It's a disgrace that he wasn't pulled from reffing this game after Mike Riley's very public intervention during the day. PGMOL should have some serious questions to answer. They won't though, will they.

When people like him achieve the status they're at it makes you wonder about the supposed lack of quality and competence amongst those who are his underlings. He needs a rest, a very long one because incompetency of that level on display over two games shouldn't be allowed to continue and fester.

After the highly publicised controversy surrounding him from the weekend why was he seen as 'fit for purpose' last night. I can't imagine that happening had it involved a number of other clubs in our league.

It's a shame for him as I think he's been one of the better refs from the new wave up to now but he was obviously put under pressure yesterday. I don't particularly blame him, more his bosses who have long been not fit for purpose. I mean, Riley wasn't fit for purpose when he was a ref, never mind being in charge of them.

There's always a degree of truth in that, but last night the referee appeared very inconsistent in his decisions; perhaps his size contributes, but despite being impeded/held back by Nididi at every set piece hardly a single decision went Weghorst's way

If there was a 60:40 decision in our favour he’d give it to Leicester, and that’s being generous

That really is not the case at all.
Lot’s of examples where that show it’s not including the previous defeat against Liverpool.

I was impressed with Kavanagh initially but he’s gone backwards in the last two or three years. We are just no producing good refs now.
