Just so you are aware HVM was designed to counter act Soviet attack helis basically drop them before they have the chance to fire anything hence the low ceiling and fast missile.

Back in the 80’s Harger Clough factory was welding US cruise missile components. We were briefed they could hit a target the size of a window. We thought the Americans were mad, but they had gps in the 80’s . Who knew.

Yes I think even Putin has got beyond any pretence. Their only claim in UN is that Ukraine are doing it to themselves. Pure evil. The one big bit of good news is fairly solid reports Putin was heard admitting ‘things are not going as well as he had hoped’ to the Russian Orthodox Pope (he’s just a puppet), but if the west has picked up on it - hopefully Russians who are wondering also get the right inference too.

I was having a browse around yesterday and looking at the cost of this war to Russia.

So each tank he has sent it costs around $5,000,000. According to the website we are all looking at for equipment loses.
He has lost 214 tanks. That’s $1,070,000,000 just in lost tanks.

Just imagine the total cost and what could Putin have done for his country if he spent that on making things better for his people.

Whilst I don’t believe a single word from the Russian government, I’m also not naive enough to think there’s not some strategic games taking place on Ukraine’s behalf either - abandoned residential blocks being used to store ammo or fight the Russians from up high - then use the shelling to enforce public opinion of genocide so they get more support from the west.

In some respects, they’d be stupid not to. For instance storing all their ammo in big military compounds they can easily bomb would be ludicrous. Just as the Russians are using ambulances to transport theirs.

Tbh, I can’t see what strategic value there is for the Russians, who presumably still intend to occupy, to blow up all the infrastructure and infuriate the civilian population if there weren’t a good reason to do so.

Truth is, there will be Warcraft on both sides but the Russians shouldn’t be there in the first place.

That is why the West must make sure Ukraine wins the peace as well. Its going to need massive amounts of money and aid and it has to get it

Most analyst state that the ratio of dead to wounded is around 3-1. Taking that at face value, Russia potentially has over 25000 dead and wounded. That’s around 13% of the force used to invade.

I think those figures support your statement.
