It is horrific, but it's important not to condemn all Russians for these atrocities committed by their forces, especially as most Russian citizens wont be hearing all the grisly details that we in the west are privy too.Lowbankclaret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 8:08 pmNo one is going to look at Russian people the same again, they are just proving to be plain evil. One good aspect of this war is the fact that all these acts will be identified, and hopefully in time those in power will be held to account for their actions.

The Hague at a guess, or another international court, but that's for the future, all people can do right now is document evidence as best they can in the circumstances, and hope that once all this has finished, which I'm sure we'd all like to be as soon as practically possible, while retaining Ukraine's sovereignty in the process, that justice will be served.

Telling that even with all the state apparatus it's still only 70%, and how many of those who state they back the special operations are simply saying that to ensure they aren't harassed by Vlad and his cronies.Lowbankclaret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 8:30 pmWhilst I agree, 70% of Russians back the special military operations.

This is why in my view the longer this war continues the more restless the Russian populace will become, especially as the sanctions really start to bite.
Might go some way to explain why Russia's objectives are seemingly being scaled back, so they can claim a victory of sorts if they capture territory in the south.

Sadly the info was out their about Putin and his cronies, the Crimea annexation, the attack on Georgia, Transnistria the funding and arming of separatists , and Russian forces in Donbass, anyone with half a brain wouldn’t accept the lies of their state media , many people just choose to ignore at least and support at worst, sadly they will reap that harvest now not Putin and his cronies many of the oligarchs are moving to the UAE and are being welcomed with open arms!

Really good long video of Ukrainian operation to retake Olkhovka in the Kharkiv region. This includes some video of injured soldiers on both sides, and prisoners taken by the Ukrainians so fair warning if you'd rather not watch. But it's very interesting to view their tactics.

If true, and they sound genuine, the steps that Russia are willing to go to in order to appear the victim, or claim new allies is sickening. If these can be gazumped, by letting the cat out of the bag beforehand, their effectiveness is minimal. In fact it could have the opposite effect and pile more pressure on Russia.

Thing is this a feed going to people who need to know, we have picked it up from those sources originally. I am happy for them to appear on here but when you realise - the information is hot from inside the Kremlin via an American based racing driver, then the dissemination becomes more guarded - a great source for a ‘private messageboard’ like this but spreading it too widely to the pubic could lead to Russian officials following the source to capture the canary. It is a great feed that is being watched to understand Russian attitudes etc.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 10:54 amThese reports need broadcasting more widely.

His country is being bombed and destroyed.
His innocent people who voted him in being gunned down unarmed.
Innocent children and women being killed daily.
Perhaps that’s why he is not so happy.

The definition of "trust" is important. Do you trust any politician? I struggle to. But let's suppose Zelensky is a liar and everything he has said in the last year is a pack of lies then he'll have fooled virtually every democratic country unless of course one's a conspiracy theorist who holds that all the western leaders know he's lying but have been pretending to believe him all along. And then we can go on and on.dermotdermot wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 8:13 pmHe’s been slagging NATO off periodically from the start on account of them being reticent to get involved. But it is very important to remember at all times - you cannot trust anything that comes out of Russia.
Not a thing
It took them fifty plus years to admit to the Katyn massacre and then they then unadmitted it just like that
Whatever stuff is done in the west, however bad our democratic systems seem to be, the alternative is essentially what Putin and Russia are
