In many ways I am dreading the announcement of our new manager. I really, really don’t want an Allardyce/Bruce type of appointment.

I’ve been pretty accepting all season that we’re going down, so I have no issue if Jackson/Jenkins/Mee continue the temporary management until the end of the season.

Isn’t Allardyce known for having lots of back room staff follow him around? Losing Mercer and Beattie is not a great indicator in this respect.
Yes

If he want a huge bonus for keeping us up and nothing else, then hell yeah, why not?

But if he wants a contract after that he can do one

We cannot afford to have the sort of manager that BFS is, simply because of the way he operates. We don't have that type of money to waste on *cough cough* Agents fees for players who based on his WBA managerial appointment won't actually help

Reset and restart required under a fresh new manager, with fresh ideas, not the same old crap that hasn't worked for a few seasons now, and that includes Bruce as well

Just for the benefit of the trolls who appear to be ignoring the fact that I can't see their posts, the manager who is best equipped to sort out the defence and grind your way to survival is Sean Dyche. We put up with that because when we got it right, it was brilliant to watch, and no one is arguing that those times have got less and less frequent in the past couple of seasons

Wanting the same, but with BFS or Bruce, while simultaneously celebrating Dyche going does not make any sense at all, but that is why you are one my block list because its arguing for arguing's sake without actually realising what you are saying

Fresh start, whatever division we are in please!

Pace will have heard of Alladyce's reputation so it is a worrying time

Pace will find out that he can’t afford Big Sam because Pace and his cronies have no money if we go down and lose the big Sky payments

You're a sensitive soul aint you? I'm on your block list because you disagree with my football opinion, oh diddums, I must be trolling if you disagree.

Sean Dyche was not keeping this team up this season, if you can't see that then god help you.

I never said I wanted BFS or Bruce, you're just making up stuff.

I'm on your block list because of situations like this, you completely made up I said I wanted Steve Bruce as manager, you then argued against that and call me a troll, despite completely ignoring the biggest fact of all.... I NEVER ******* SAID IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Btw you can see my posts, you responded.....

Just to be clear, you did mention yourself that you were trolling when you posted you wanted the fascist Paolo di Canio to replace Dyche in 2018, didn't you?

You got me, I'm a changed poster, 4+ years ago I may have been a wum, now I refrain from that, it upset too many people. He didn't block me 4 years ago though.

I'm sure you can understand that if you used to post stupid **** to wind people up, and now you post stupid **** just because you believe it, people don't really believe you still

I don't believe that's the case, you should show some respect David. This guy made up I said something, completely fabricated it, just to argue, people are incredibly weird.

In your own mind it did, I think most treated it with the disdain it required.

Are you BFC’s accountant / banker as well as a vicar? I find it extraordinary the amount of detail you know of how much cash Pace / Burnley do or do not have.

We can't afford the BFS/Redknapp way of running football clubs

It really is that simple

Happy to keep with the set up we have until the end of the season, as for BFS don't want him and not for personal reasons just football . I have been in his company on numerous occasions and he Is friendly and approachable

The trick people are missing though is we wouldn’t have to, you are effectively offering a 1 off lump payment to BFS upon ensuring survival if he fails he doesn’t get the money if he succeeds he gets the money, it’s a very simple concept as a short term arrangement, nobody appears to be suggesting we employ him long term.
