Typical Burnley luck, but its up to the lads to claw back 2 points and its Everton’s easiest game on paper gone. UTC

Newcastle won 1-0

Although a win tomorrow won't put Everton in the relegation zone (something that I think might have a negative impact on them mentally), this match v Leicester was one of their better chances of picking up points. 1 point sn't a disaster and I feel if we can win tomorrow, we'll have put Everton under almost as much pressure as if they'd have lost tonight anyway. Who knows they could still be in the relegation zone by the time they play again, IF we can do our own business!!! Game on!!!!

It's in our hands...or feet so to speak.
Thought Everton were going to win tonight
but they managed to get a goal very late on ...again!

They've got Liverpool and Chelsea next so let's hope
they don't pick up any points from those two.

And more importantly we manage a few in our next two.
Six ideally and we'd definitely have the bit between our teeth.

Finished 1-1 I'd have been happy with that at KO, but how many bleeding IT goals are those sides around us going to keep scoring, it's becoming annoying now.

I suppose as long as we win tomorrow that's not a bad result for us given Everton's next 2 compared to ours, and their dire form on the road means there is increased pressure on their home games.

If (big if I know) but if we can secure 6 points against Saints and Wolves, then by Sunday evening we'll surely be out of the relegation zone, I can't see Everton getting anything at Anfield, so we simply can't fail to grasp yet another lifeline which has fallen our way.

Everton have some tough games but winnable ones as well against Brentford and Watford

Don’t know what Leicester were doing with all that tippy tappy round the back nonsense but they gave the ball away so cheaply and brought the pressure on themselves. Can’t believe a raggy deflection has got them a point.

Would have taken a point before the game, only Palace at home left as an easy game for Everton assuming Brentford stay on fire.

We'd have taken that before kick off, and its doesn't change the fact that we need to win games to put the pressure on

Anyone think Everton have reacted well to pressure so far?

It is up to us to put a performance in the next two games and we will see

On current form Everton have as much chance of beating Liverpool as we have of beating Man City.

But football doesn't always work like that...

7/9 shouldn't be out of the question for us, and we've already drawn with the next 3 teams we're due to play in Southampton, Wolves & Watford, so the carrot is there if the lads want it enough, and our display on Sunday suggests we've still got plenty of fight in us. now time to start putting a run together.

Psychologically it would have been great to go above them tomorrow but as far as we are concerned we can only focus on our own results and performances - it is still in our hands

Looking at Everton's remaining fixtures a scrambled added time point against a coasting Leicester doesn't bode that well

Newcastle up to forty points now with that win tonight against Palace and playing well.
Hope it doesn't come down to that last game if they continue their form.

It will be a nothing game for them sitting comfortably in mid-table. You would hope if we need something from that and they don't we are capable of getting it - could think of a lot worse fixtures on the final day
