Villa away

Post by HuncoatClaret » Sat Apr 30, 2022 5:26 pm

Did we sell out for the original fixture or are there likely to be tickets available?

I'm not sure if they've even gone on sale yet, nothing on the site saying sold out or still available so I assume they haven't gone on sale yet?

And that will be any unsold from the original game plus returns.

I expect demand for this will be through the roof now, certainly after Saturday and there being real life in this team. 100% this will sell out, hoping we take the max available. Make that noise like we did on Saturday and anything can happen. UTC.

We won't have a choice to take any more than we did for the original game, as Villa will have already sold 'away' seats in the top tier.

There will be some tickets available, either from our unsold allocation for the postponed game or returns from people who can't make it this time.

I notice the entire top tier of the away section was empty for their game against Norwich at the weekend

Unofficially I've heard tomorrow but nothing official from the Club. Wonder if they'll use the points system or just go on General Sale?

Just had a quick look at the Villa ticket site and they don't appear to have sold any in the top tier above the lower away section. Maybe it's their policy to leave it empty if the away club doesn't take the top tier allocation?

I emailed the ticket office this morning and they said they’re expecting them to go on sale towards the end of the week.

Not so sure Villa will have much need for extras in the away allocation. Nothing at stake for them. We are not a big draw. Better chance of us selling them, this time.

I dont suppose anyone can advise on parking for Villa Park (I tried to find the usual useful info thread, but cant find it). Thinking about getting a ticket for it now, as its only an hour away for me

We parked at Star City last time, but it is a bit of a walk but next to the motorway so quick to head home.

Might be closer/easier places with it being a midweek game

Last time we went we parked for free at a big retail park, think it was called star city. Only downside it's a bit of a trek to the ground.

Yes we parked at Star City as well on advice from a Villa supporter. Ideal if you give yourself plenty of time and well populated by fellow Clarets.

I’d heard a few hundred but I’d have thought more, I’d keep my eye on more being ‘found’ and put in sale.

My mates managed to get 3 but we wanted 8, looks like I’ll be driving instead of taking a mini bus

Be good if they listed them at the time advertised! Sat in work on limited time, set an alarm for 2pm to get an additional one. Can't sit online all day when Im suppose to be working. Delayed dinner for f all. Can they not request the upper stand too?

Mental not taking the top tier, it’s a far different game to the original one, and even if we were down it’s our last away game in the prem and would still sell well.

Villa had probably already sold tickets in the upper tier for the original game though.

Can understand club not wanting to lose out on unsold tickets but it's looking like a blunder not to have taken a much larger allocation.

They've made a complete mess of it, tickets can still be returned now so I imagine any that are will be put on the site so you just have to keep checking I suppose.

Got mine online.
