not remotely close to an elbow. I've waited for the replays at half time just to make sure, it's more shoulder + arm movement - like I said, he doesn't have to get out of the way.
Lucky it wasn’t a straight red

To be fair he also doesn't need to make a forward motion with his shoulder/arm. Stupidity of the highest order when he's already had a yellow.

He shoved his shoulder into Son’s face. He knew exactly what he was doing and got the minimum he deserved.

We were always going to be facing a mammoth task on Sunday, nothing has changed. A demotivated side would have potentially helped but then look at Chelsea last night with very little to play for.

What we have to do against Spurs is get bodies behind the ball. Midfielders need to sit deeper and not press high as it will leave us totally exposed against such a good counter attacking side.

I'd love to be wrong. But they have a Champions League spot up for grabs. There is no way they let it slip against us.

EDIT: 3-0

Defend as well as we did away at Arsenal.

Thing is, Arsenal are playing with El Neney specifically to try to stop Kane, and a strong midfield

I'm not sure if they are in the zone we can do much about it, especially as if we can cut out the runs, Kane is still really strong in the air so letting loads of crosses in won't work either

Hey ho, we will see what happens

Anyone thinking they will ease off when needing to win their last two games is in fantasy land. It is like having City away with the title at stake. Whatever side we put out we are stuffed. What is crucial is not to lose any more players for two games in three games of our own to finish.

What I wouldn’t give for holding ground with Everton and Leeds at the weekend now, if all three lose I’d snatch your hand off. Even if Leeds lose to Brighton and we lose 6-0 I’d consider that a brilliant outcome.

Being a realist I'd happily take a 2/3 goal loss at Spurs, as long as Leeds lose their game, because if they do, then we'll know 3 points at Villa will be enough due to our massive GD advantage.

Everton will almost certainly seal their PL place this weekend with their winnable home game, so baring some bizarre results we can take them out of the equation.

The strange thing is we've struggled against Spurs in recent times away yet tend to do better against Liverpool away who are on another planet compared to them.

Looks like we are going to need a special performance on Sunday. Bloody Spurs are going to be on a high after that - Kane, for an England captain is a real disgrace with his constant moaning and arm waving, great player but always looking for the fouls. Son is also a great player but again constantly diving and moaning. Can Friend be any worse than Tierney ? But when the going gets tough …….

Spurs have struggled with that all season

And the commentators just assuming Spurs will be two points ahead of Arsenal after our game. I know it’s likely, but no one respects us with comments like that.

I was 50/50 on the pen, don't often get given. Sending off was a joke, nothing in the laws says Holding has to get out of the way
There has to be something in the laws preventing a defender from running into the direct line of the attacker, blocking him off and elbowing him in the process.

not that i'm aware of but if there is fair enough - either way, Holden doesn't elbow him, it's shoulder and an arm movement. Footy is ******* soft nowadays

Damn shame Arse fell apart.
Now 3 clubs for 2 places. Plus 2 at the top.
Who cares about the rest?
Refs will do all they can to prolong it to the end.
