Scott Brown appointed Fleetwood boss

This is a shock, I knew he'd retired from playing recently, but I'm surprised he's gone into management so soon after hanging up his boots.

He was player/coach last season at Aberdeen but packed in part way through the season I think

Won't be used to losing too much except in European games. My Drumchapel born friend is a director at Fleetwood but he's not a 'tim' so it will be interesting to listen to his take on it.

Should make for an interesting couple of Bristol Rovers v Fleetwood Town games.

Given the animosity between Joey and Scott Brown up in Glasgow.

The delightful pairing of Andy Pilley and Scott Brown, what a football club

He was a very combative and tenacious midfielder - he will make an excellent manager.

According to certain theories / assumptions.

Good luck to Fleetwood, they'll need it if that is the assumption they've followed.
