The big game changing substitution that came after half time was particularly baffling. I never envisioned Roberts coming off and Long staying on, not in a million years.

I think that is game over, season over, Premier League stay over. Another lower table team who tried to shift towards sexy, attacking football ( which we did at the start of this season ) suffers the drop. Some unexpected results in the last few matches gave us hope, but our tactical attacking tweaks this season made the difference - along with a questionable Summer transfer strategy and a reactionary Winter window.

No money, no manager, no back room staff, no defined way of playing and a consistently poor recruitment team should make for a very interesting Summer transfer window.

At least this awful season is nearly done. Let's hope the return to the Championship gives us chance to have a major rebuild and some exciting games, and wins.

But I fear avoiding League 1 is our next big worry next season.

I just want to have a couple of months of enjoying the summer and not stressing about football.

I'm gutted though. I really thought we could match Leeds today.
